Opinion on The Dark Knight Returns version? Not including The Dark Knight Strikes Again. I'll say, he's a bit big.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23630 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Is DKR Batman badass or not? Opinions?

Frank Miller wrote it..what do you think?
Frank Miller was great in the 80s. He did DKR and Year One.

One of my fav Batman stories.
Why?
Where to start....Batman portrayed as some old school gritty Clint Eastwood type asskicker. Guns, blood, death, Nazi tattooed boobs ;) Superman as Ronald Reagan's puppet. And the epic battle between Batman and Superman. Plus I'm all about the urban underground themed fighter, and seeing Batman crouched down mapping out tactical plans with a small band of resistance fighters at the end is just Beast Mode.

Yeah. Pretty much why he was so bad-ass, I liked that this Batman was violent and adapted to the world he lived in, he went so far to crossing the line but actually didn't (though DSA ruined this). I like Batman books where he won't kill, etc. But seeing a massive, Arnold Schwarznegger built Batman beating the living shit out of people is just awesome. That's what Batman needed at the time to get sales.
And turning the Batmobile into a tank. Awesome.

I dunno, that same Batman also showed up in All-Star and DKSA and he was crap there.
Huh? That Batman was the All Star version?
Also, stick to DKR and ignore the All-Star version and the DSA version. I'm strictly talking DKR.
