It's just not the same anymore. What a lot of people including myself lover about the character was Batman's humanity and DC/fans have butchered that.

If that's what you're talking about when you say Batgod then that only happened within the past few months anyways and isn't even how the character was written within his own title. So yeah the original point stands. Pick up an actual Batman comic where he's human and not a Justice League event where every member's been made into a God.
