Yesterday, we were treated to a first look at Batman vs. Superman's new batmobile. Well, the back of it and the basic shape, that is. Today, we're getting a first look at the new batsuit AND the front of the batmobile! Director Zack Snyder shared the image via Twitter and says he took it with a Leica M Monochrom camera.

Something just doesn't seem right. Are the ears on the suit a little small?

Batmobile, cool. Batsuit? Okay. I wish the symbol wasn't so fat and that the ears were a bit longer. But it looks decent enough. I'll wait until I see it in color (and in different positions) before I write it off completely.

No word yet on whether that's the final product or if that's Affleck in the costume or even if that's a human being and not just a mannequin, but the shorter ears, thicker build and emblem are definitely inspired by The Dark Knight Returns.

the costume looks like Batman. and it shouldn't look like anything else. people are really nitpicking if they go overboard in either direction lol.

Grey will be a nice change to pure black if its the case...but otherwise ...its Batman lol

@txman210: That's how Jim Lee draws the ears. Makes sense if he has to tumble or hit into small spaces.

I'll bet we have Jim Lee to thank for the ears. It looks okay but I prefer the tall Arkham-style ears.

Honestly.. I don't it does look good but the symbol is way too big, i never was a fan of the DKR costume, the ear aren't that big a deal

Yup, that looks pretty Batmany alright.

I never liked the monochrome Batman look. I truly like the blue and grey with yellow accents best. This looks like it's just a grey body suit with a cowl. Can hardly even see the belt. We'll see. I don't like the dark red/dark blue look for Super either. Next thing you know Supes'll be killing his enemies...

Various sources I respect are claiming it's Affleck in it and it definitely looks like his chin/mouth/jaw. Seeing as they're filming this week and this is the first look, I think it's more than safe to assume that's the final product. You know, give or take whatever VFX they may use along the way.

Haha. I think there will definitely be some fan service, but Snyder's implied he thinks it's a very one-sided fight. I'm hoping it'll be Batman staying a step ahead and testing Superman instead of RUMBLE IN THE STREETS, YO! You know, one of those "we're enemies until we must team up towards the end!" kind of situations.

Wow, the batmobile!

Wow I'm impressed. Looks better than Nolan's (from what I can see.) And they weren't kidding about Affleck looking like a real life superhero. He's looks bigger and better than I expected.

Underwhelming TBH,the Batmobile is all sorts of awesome but the suit leaves a lot to be desired,I'm sure the fanboys will love it cause NO ARMOR NOLAN SUCKS,but the suit doesn't appeal to me at all. The ears are too short,I'm not one to complain about something so minor but he should atleast look Batlike,these ears give off more of a cat vibe. Dont like the ridiculous abs in the suit either especially when it's so blatantly clear that Affleck doesn't have them.

Suit and batmobile both look great. This has me far more excited for the film instead another character announcement.
