Dark Knight Rises Teaser Unmasks on Facebook
Bane looks a bit different that I kinda hoped he would be but I'm open to anything as long as it's good!
Saw it in the theatre when I went to see Harry Potter... Looks sweet!
To bad there was no footage of catwoman.

and if you think that is something watch this ...
and also this fan made one too ( good too) :D
Dang, these people are off the friggin chain.
Some people just like to whine. I'd rather have these kinds of teasers than spoiler teasers/trailers.
Although I dont love the mask... I do understand why they do it so its a simple concession... Bane seems to be an integral part of the story so they want to humanize him a little more from a street thug, they want him to be able to express and talk clearly as an authoritative villain, not hired help. Its also oddly constructed... Im wondering if they are using a little creative license to adjust how bane ingests his venom.
This is the funniest and truest thing I've ever seen about the teaser so far lol! They really did rush it out to appease the masses...the teaser doesn't show SH!T!ITSJUSTSOMERANDOMGUY does it again.

I know may of you may criticize me but I think Batman will die or he'll be almost killed by Bane then he retires whit a broken back and visits Gordon and the rest of the injured GCPD so he goes back and I think Ra' al Ghul will appear when discovering The Pit. In the comics the Venom (used by Bane) The Pit liquid (used by al Ghul) and the Fear Toxin (used by ScareCrow) are 3 different things but i the film i think they will be the same. JUST THINK LIKE NOLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fear toxin came from a specific flower. They never showed the Lazarus Pit in the previous films. There isn't much of a connection except Ra's al Ghul to the Scarecrow's origin. Is that what you mean?
im not sure if that shot is from the first film, but the dude doing push-ups might be Bane working out in Prison.

If they go ahead and "Break the Bat" then I will give DC respect for the nerve that takes. DC should have had Zack Snyder do Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" instead of wasting all that capital on Green Lantern and Next years Superman Tribute...
It looks like Dark Knight Rises is going to draw some inspiration from Cataclysm and No Man's Land, with Jim Gordon upset over Batman's absence in Gotham's moment of need and images of the city crumbling.
Bane Mask is obviously an inhaler, hence it's odd look.
Notice how this trailer didn't just have crummy one-liners and action scenes? That's the difference between Nolan's Batman and Marvel Studios, Nolan's Batman understands subtlety.
It's a teaser and it shouldn't be anything more than just a couple drops of perspiration. Looks like Gordon is dying. From the camera angle is Bruce Wayne in a wheel chair? Bane's mask looks insect like, very creepy. Looks like Bane has the Bat softened up for him.
Christopher Nolan is a narrow minded twit who may have made some valid points about the batman mythos but all in all he butchered it. I mean first of all: It looks like Jim Gordon is dying from cancer or something which blows it for me because Jim Gordon is crucial to the Batman lore. Bane's mask looks like a half ass version of Darth Vader and he is albino. From it sounds like: Bane is going to be a combination between Ubu and Dusan al Ghul. Nolan completely destroyed Bane's origin where he came from Santa Prisca which is the DC version of Cuba and if King Snake is even mentioned in the film, he will probably be the same british naval officer that he was in the comics except he will be stationed in India during Britain's imperialism over India. Bane's new origin according to the film will probably be King Snake ravages a young Indian woman or maybe he kidnaps Ra's al Ghul's wife and has his way with her. Ra's raises the boy but he feels disgusted by the boy's existence and treats him as a weapon rather than an adopted son kinda how Ra's views his own son Dusan. Eventually Ra's will get his revenge on King Snake with Bane's help like he mentioned in Batman Begins. As for Catwoman, I rolled my eyes when I heard Anne Hathaway was playing Catwoman, its like hearing Amy Adams (the chick from Enchanted) playing Lois Lane or Topher Grace playing Venom (bad casting). Couldn't Nolan get Kate Beckinsale to play Selina but anyway I can see where this Catwoman is going. Selina will play Catwoman for Bruce Wayne and Batman but she will actually be Talia al Ghul in disguise. Nolan is trying to connect the whole "cat thing" being sacred in the middle east like Egypt and of course, Ra's al Ghul's name is arabic. I don't know. I mean when I heard Batman Begins put a pending Batman Beyond film on hold, I will admit I was pissed off but I gave Batman Begins a thumbs up because at first I liked the direction that this film was going but now I am glad that this will be Nolan's last take on Batman. Someone else needs to step up to "bat" and make a saga of Batman that no one can match. And yes that pun was intended. What the hell?Thats all unfounded speculation. So far he hasnt "butchered" any characters. He slightly messed up Joker by giving him face paint and not having it died into his skin but kept true to the spirit of the character and his craziness and i am thinking he will do the same thing with Bane.Chill out and wait till the movie actually comes out.
I have to admit, I got all giddy watching the teaser. Especially the last shot with an unsteady looking Batman and Bane advancing on him, straight up chills right there! I'm even more excited for May 2012 than I already was!
I was disappointed that we didn't even get a tiny glimpse of Catwoman, even in just her civilian Selina Kyle clothes would have been nice.
Ok, I have a theory from watching this trailer... What if the movie's plot is some kind of combination of Knightfall and The Dark Knight Returns? The trailer mentions that Batman has been gone and has to return, and the inmates surrounding Batman and his nigh unstoppable opponent is reminiscent of the scene in the Dark Knight Returns of Batman fighting the leader of the mutants...
Also, Bruce is in a wheelchair. If his back is broken, then in the Nolanverse it would take some time to heal. What if Bane breaking his back effectively puts Bruce into retirement and Gotham into hell, setting the stage for a Dark Knight Returns-style comeback
