Damn straight. That's all I need to say.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23648 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
batmans rogues gallery is surely the best in D.C.
I'll agree with that for DC. Though I think it pales in comparison to say... Spider-Man's villain line up.
OSIRIS says:
"Fourpower says:"Spidey's villians are all clowns."huh!i disagree, bats 'big three' villains are far more pantomine than any of spideys, and along with two face they havent teally got any powers or sense of real danger.
would you sooner tackle the penguin or the rhino in a drag em out war?
"
I've said it a billion times. A villian's quality is not measured by his power level. Penguin is a clown too, but at least he's got real depth as a character. Spidey's villians are all the same guy with a different power.
Fourpower says:

I've got some pics of myself and my brother as Wolverine and Cyclops. But this isn't a thread for Wolverine and Cyclops, so I too will refrain.
DC doesn't have that many cool villains, the Flash has a few good ones (?) though. Don't knock the Penguin, he might not have powers but he's Deputy President now and he shot a guy in the face and blamed it on a 'hunting accident.' How many Spidey villains can say that?
Prurience Man says:
"Fourpower says:"I've a picture of me, two years old, naked except for a Superman cape-but I'm not posting it."Oh, thank God!"
I think we're all united, good, evil and neutral in saying "please don't."
I think that Batty's villians SEEM like two-dimentional, slapstick antagonists when you first encounter them. However, I absolutely adore ones such as the Joker and Two Face, because the stories of how they came to be villians are so intriguing... Especially Loeb's story of Harvey Dent/Two Face in "The Long Halloween". They're dark, creepy villians, but they were people beforehand, and you can almost simpathize with them...
I'm sorry peeps, but the Flash easily has the single most kickass and fun-to-read-about Rogue's Gallery in comic books. Period. However, it is quickly followed up by Superman's, and then Hal Jordan's.
SO SPEAKS THE SCOODLE.

Generally speaking, I think he has the largest Rogues' gallery. very few have "supoer powers" per se, but I think, like someone mentioned earlier, It's not the powers, but the personalities that matter. Have you read Sam keith's "Secrets"? if you have, then you would really come to appreciate the JOKER, .. Better yet - FEAR Him!. that Dude's just simply the greatest villain.
Batman easily has the most intriguing and three-dimensional villains of any single hero. With Batman we draw a comparison between Batman and the crazies he's locking up and wonder whether he's really all that much different from them. We have to wonder if Bruce Wayne's obsessions might make him fit for Arkham Asylum just as much as Jonathan Crane's obsession with fear or Edward Nigma's obsession with riddles. We ask ourselves whether or not a sane, well adjusted man would dress up like a bat and chase killer clowns across rooftops in the middle of the night.
So, yes I'd say Batman has the best gallery in DC, perhaps the best in the Big Two. They serve a purpose greater than attempting world domination so the hero can save the day.
Also, super powers or not, the Joker has killed or maimed more people face-to-face than most super-villains could ever hope to.
I agree if bats has the most unique and great villain.
Superman? Well strong enemy but their background is kinda weak.
But Bats, wow I can't wait to see the next bats movie (starring C.B) cuz the enemy is complicated, solid, and interesting. I just could'nt imagine how hard for someone to make a movie like, lets say wonder woman, which enemy is could be compelling or intersting for "regular joe"

Best argument yet, Batman has the BEST rogues gallery EVER!! Then Spider-Man, Superman, and Flash.

I'm never being a spiderman's villain fan the only ones that I really like are Venom, Carnage and Green Goblin (and maybe scorpion)
I would say Batman has the best gallery and Superman has the second (not only in DC)
I mean batman has Joker, Ra's al ghul, Two-Face, Scarecrow, etc and for superman we have darkside, luthor, brainiac, doomsday, etc
The only ones I would get rid of are
Batman
Penguin and I was gonna say Harley Queen but DC made it first and the riddler (but I have changed my mine of him since he discovered who was batman)
Superman
mr mxthingy and atomic skull
Oh and Osiris superman also has for villains Bizarro and General Zod (don't know if you like them)

You mean the powerful bad guys who uses fancy gadgets ;while 99% of Bat rouges use their heads? Well if you like brawn and insanity go with Spidey. If you want diversity and insanity go with Bats.

For me the Flash has the best DC rogues gallery - Mirror Master, Captain cold, Captain boomerang, heat wave, Abra Kadabra, The Top, Weather Wizard, Gorilla Grodd, The Trickster and Reverse Flash all proved worthy adversaries for the Scarlet Speedster. However, I do think Batman's gallery comes a close second.
"Spidey's villians are all clowns.
"
No they aren't. You want embarassing rogues look at The GA Green Lantern villains.
