It's bad not a little but alot, Batman has all the Heroes of the DC uni scared out their minds, Hal was made to look like a punk, Supes looks like a puppy dog and wonder woman is the only one with a back bone.

Grayson is actually pretty cool, But the dialog what the hell, Is Batman five, I am intrested in the Joker I want to see where they are going to take him!

Remember the idea of the series. Its based off of Batman through the eyes of Robin. So he see Batman as someone greater than them all.

Yeah but still, I mean it still makes no sense if your a kid any kid and you put Batman next to Supes or Green Lantern, The guys can fly and have loads of diffrent powers , Are you not think WOW, Not what a bunch of punks!

And I could see how Batman wriiten today would have little respect for those characters. With all their power and not making a great change in the world.

Most feel Batman could beat any of those characters if given time to prepare. This Batman feels this way from his study of these guys and he has a little more gritty persona. Kinda like Eastwood. I can see him treating them like spoiled punks wit their powers.

Batman showed him he's not to be taken likely. He couldn't even locate him with his ring. Batman was prepared for their meeting.

All-Star-Batman was a disappointment. I understand what Miller's trying to do but I dont think he pulled it off in the slightest.

I just felt that Batman would be more sinister then thugish, Thats all he is in all star is a thug in a cape.

He is also a young Batman. He hasn't refined his style yet. Still has alot more anger. As seen by a child.

Jim Lee's art is definetly the best part of the book

Just look it like a Elseworld story, this won't mess with continuity after all

I only have one thing to say about this All Star Batman sh!t. It sucks on many levels. So, don't read it, unless you don't mind reading Robin's interpretation of 'The Greatest Guy in the World since my Dad Died.'

Hey, remember what DC said, that ALL Star comics was meant to strip down the characters to what makes them tick? Well Miller is just writing whatever he thinks makes Batman tick. He was asked to write a comic book to give an ending since Batman was going to be cancelled so he wrote the Dark Knight Returns. Then Batman was reborn and he was asked to write Year One. So when all the reviews came in, everyone said they liked the grittier, meaner and nastier world of batman. So technically, he's writing whatever everyone liked about batman. So we might as well throw all the tomatoes at the DKR fans than Miller.

after reading the last issue I started to think that Miller had a plan all the way, in a part he was playing with us making us think that he has lost his charm.

When he sees that because of his rush, his stupidity, his mistakes he almost made Dick Grayson, a young boy a killer he started to reflexionate. Think about it, it's supposed to be a young batman, but maybe this is the turning point that makes him mature and leads to Miller finally writing Batman as he has before.

Frank really seems to be able to bring out the 'salt' side of Batman, the part where nobody likes to go and writers often hesitate. I called it 'salt' 'cause you dislike it's taste but you constantly need it to make your food taste good.

I'm going to go half and half on this one. Yeah Batman is being portrayed as a real prick At the moment I think what Miller is trying to push for is how Robin kept Batman sane and from flying over the edge because we all know that if it weren't for Dick Grayson coming into Batman's life that he would not be that Batman that he is today. I'll admit as well that I think Miller is trying too hard to emphasize how much of an asshole that Batman was before Robin came into the picture. But keep in mind what Miller wrote after the encounter with Green Lantern and see how much he tries to make him human in those last few pages. That's the point of this series IMO.

Yeah it's getting good, was kinda slow at the beginning.. and the delays didn't help

All Star Batman #10, I just checked the solicits and:

"Batgirl, Catwoman, Black Canary, and even Detective Gordon's better half give Gotham a headache so big it'll split the city in two!"

I honestly like All Star Batman. Its the first series i began collecting. Joker is scary, and I like reading Batman as a prick and such a badass. Jim Lee's art is awesome as well.

yeah, the last issue was funny. but at the same time it was able to change my mood especially the last scene at the grave yard. ...dayum... too cool.
