    A good exploration of Two-Face's character 0

Two-Face is a really interesting character who has kind of been in the background of New 52. Now is his time to shine. The best part of this story in my personal opinion, is his conversation with Scarecrow. Villain interactions are always fun to see and this conversation wasn't any different then usual. The stuff after this is enjoyable if not as interesting. I highly enjoyed seeing Two-Face's version of "justice" which was typical Two-Face. Overall a excellent issue.4 1/2 stars out of 5...

The People Are Represented By Two Face 1

Yes, the title of the review was an attempt to adapt the legendary 'Law & Order' opening narration - did I do it right?Normally, I wouldn't post so many reviews in one week, but with this being villain's month, I'm sure there will be more to follow.Let me say from the out-set, that I enjoyed this issue a lot. My favourite villains tend to be the ones with something tragic about them, and in the case of Two-Face, his struggles to overcome his demons, though he is an essentially good person, ...

    Thank God for Two-Face 0

Well after that piece of garbage Joker issue, I needed something to cleanse the pallet, so thank you merciful god that this issue exists. Two Face, for those who don't know, is my favorite member of Bat Man's rogues gallery and an issue in which he gets the spotlight is something I can never resist. We open with beautiful artwork of Two-Face flipping his coin complete with contradicting narrative captions that illustrate Two-Face's duality. He flips his coin, stating that Heads, he saves the cit...

Heads save Gotham, Tails make her bleed 7

SPOILERS almost certain to be in this review. So I'm checking out all the villain month titles and now it's time for Two-Face to shine. Heads this story is great, tails it's terrible. FLIP THE COIN!The Good:Something I've been noticing about these villain month titles is that they tend to get the villains actual character down pretty well and this issue is no exception. Two-face is as Two-Face as Two-face gets. We get a really nice look at how his personal brand of logic works and it's pretty i...

    50/50 0

Guillem March's artwork is certainly gorgeous, and his layouts are a bit more loose than they were on Talon, which is good. There's tons of energy and atmosphere sewn into the visuals of this issue thanks to March.First and foremost I must say this, Peter J. Tomasi definitely seems to know how to write Two-Face as a character. The decisions of the coin are absolute to him, and nothing else can take priority. So when the coin tells him to save Gotham, even after he allied himself with the Secret...

    Decisions Decisions 9

Villains Month has been something that I have been extremely interested in, and now that it's hear I am very happy. Being a huge Batman fan I am personally looking forward to the Batman villains making there appearances, and although I've already been disappointed with the Joker's issue, I'm sure most of them will be good.PlotTwo-Face has to make the decision of whether to save Gotham City, or "make it bleed," but when Scarecrow invites Two-Face to join the Secret Society of Super Villains it ma...

Batman and Robin #23.1: Two Face Review – “Flip a coin, any coin!” 0

IntroHere’s another review of villain’s month Batman books. The Batman villain’s books have definitely been alright. It hasn’t really been that spectacular from where I’m coming from. And sadly this is another sort of disappointing book to read. I mean it is interesting read but all it does is progress him to joining the secret society. There’s nothing new we learn from this character. But this book is definitely one of the better Batman books. But it isn’t saying much because most of the Batman...

Some Odd Things Here And There But Largely A Great Issue 0

This review originally went up on my blog here.Batman and Robin is not a comic that I’ve followed from the beginning, except for reading the first arc at some point late last year. And I wasn’t really taken with it in any way, largely because I found Damian Wayne to be incredibly arrogant and a bit of a jerk as well. Plus, the story just wasn’t all that exciting. So I’ve held off on reading any further issues till now. Damian’s death earlier this year, in the pages of Grant Morrison’s Batman, In...

Batman & Robin: Vol. 2: Issue #23.1: Basically if Two-Face was in The Courtroom Scene in Dark Knight Rises 0

This comic is great, Two-Face is amazing in this, he puts every decision to the coin, which makes for an interesting and unpredictable story, along with some fun legal humor from Harvey Dent. The action is consistent and engaging, with beautiful art with it....
