He intended to sell it off but after learning that would put 150 people out of work he agrees to fund the movie they are working on. That movie turns out to be a Batman story written by a man who has strange ideas about Batman. While Bruce decides the script doesn't have anything in it that can hurt him, Gangland bosses are afraid their secrets will be revealed so they threaten anyone who tries to play the title role.
