    In order to prove herself to Batman, Batgirl has secures a local gas station and awaits for Batman to arrive for its retrieval. However, a rival gang destroys the station with a rocket launcher upon discovery that the station is empty.

    Batgirl lashes out against the gang in anger and is on the verge of killing a gang member when the owner of the gas station convinces her not to. As a reward he unveils a secret stash of gasoline to power the hospital's generators.

    It´s about the Principles...and Gas 0

    This is another self contained story, that focuses on Batwoman (Cassandra Cain), who received a mission from Batman to secure a gas station so they can get the last drops of fuel there in order to make the hospitals generator run for another weeks - the writer, Janet Harvey, did a great characterization of Batwoman, of her fears of losing control and becoming a killer like her father, of how she never wants to let Batman down, she´s still proving herself to him, so this aproach on the character ...
