Batman #18: Should I Buy It?

Despite the 4/5 rating, I definitely recommend picking this comic up to everyone and this is why: The issue was interesting and emotional and gave great insight to Harper Row as a character. Every time I read the Harper issues, I just get more and more hooked to her as a character.

The problem I had with this issue, was the jump between artists halfway through the book. Snyder did the same thing in a previous Harper issue, where he changes the artist halfway through the book. Although, yes it is creative and maybe some people enjoy it, I find it rather annoying as, for me, it disturbs the flow of the reading.

Having said that, this was such an interesting issue. I am confused to how Harper is going to fit into the Bat World if she isn't going to become robin eventually, but that's part of the fun of reading these Harper issues; learning more about her and finding out what she is going to become.

I would highly recommend picking this book up. It is fairly new reader friendly but I would recommend reading Batman #12 before this!

I love this series and even though I may be in the minority I loved last issue and it was a fitting ending to arc and I wanted to see what would happen afterwards also I wanted to see what would happen with Harper Row in this issue as although this is the first time I’ve read her (started with the #0) I was interested to see what she did in this issue.PlotHarper Row and her brother go to visit their dad in Blackgate Prison but he upsets them and he is taken away before he can finish the conversa...
