It's a shame she's leaving. What do all of you think? Will you drop the book, continue reading, or even pick up the book now that Simone is gone?

Well from what I read it wasn't her decision so I just want to know one thing.

Of all the people to move From any title it should be Scott Lobell from teen titans or Ann from catwoman. Gail simone should stay on batgirl.

I wish she'd take over Birds of Prey. But it looks they they've already got a new writer coming for issue 18. Dang.

Pretty much my feelings. I'm gonna miss her, so I hope the next writer is able to handle the character with the same quality.

On the other hand, as it's been announced that something really big will happen to Batgirl a.k.a Barbara from issue #17, a new writer can be a chance to dig deeper into such changes and deliver a really new story.

Incredibly disappointing. This new editor is a joke, but ill keep reading it to see where it goes

Maybe Gail got fired because Barbara's gonna die in Death of the family. I hope not.

Gail Simone on BOP was the first book I ever subscribed to, huge fan of her's.

I'll probably finish up the Death of the Family tie-ins but after that I think I'm done. Too bad, I was impressed by some of the villains like Knightfall.

@KZR: Febuary and March previews for Batgirl #17 and #18 show her alive and confronting her brother over his role in Death of the Family.

Well, I bet you all already know but it seems she'll continue as Batgirl's writer.
