Azure is a webcomic by Daniel Govar, originally published by DC digital imprint Zuda Comics. Set in a post-apocalyptic near future where most of the planet is underwater, the series follows the story of Emelie aka Azure, a former scientist and survivor of the nuclear cataclysm. An array of high-tech armor, weaponry, and gadgetry keeps her alive, and she lives alone in a submersible ship. After seven years with only the computer system, Pearl, for company, Emelie again makes contact with human survivors. Her memories of her life as a scientist before the cataclysm blur together with other memories that call into question the nature of her existence.

Azure won the Zuda Comics community vote in October 2008, with its first eight pages. The first 60-page 'season' of the comic was published in weekly updates between 24 February 2009 - 11 August 2009. The comic was renewed by Zuda for a second season, and publication began on 12 January 2010. When DC announced the closure of Zuda in July 2010, Azure was picked up for publication on the new Comixology platform. Each 60-page run was published as a 20-page digital comic. The first three issues were released in July 2010, and the final three issues were published monthly from February 2011.

All the artwork for the series was created digitally, and the creator kept a regular blog of his work on the comic from July 2008 - October 2010. The blog includes lots of imagery, including concept drawings, digital paintings, and time-lapse video.
