Marvel doesn't have a good track record with making trilogies and sequels. They seem to mess up at least one movie in there. I don't know if they will be able to keep the same feel that was in the first one.
Avengers
Team » Avengers appears in 7703 issues.
The Avengers are Earth's mightiest heroes and foremost super-team... "There came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born - to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now, the Avengers Assemble!"
Anybody else worried about The Avengers Sequel?

The X-Men, spiderman, Fantastic Four and Elektra films were produced by other companies. Marvel's first movie was Iron Man. The closest film there one could call a failure was The Incredible Hulk.
I'm not. Marvel hasn't let me down yet. I've loved all the MCU movies even Iron Man 2, which apparently people think is the worse thing ever. I'm also interested in seeing their new properties that are coming out. (Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange) Really like the fact that Marvel is taking chances on characters that the general public probably never heard of before, that show off its universe in completely different ways. (Space, Science, Magic) If we were talking about FOX or Sony then yeah I'd be worried.

Pssh with Whedon at the realm Avengers 2 will be fine. Joss' plan for a smaller scale, personal signal will give the Avengers time for character exposition though this can't be done if Thanos is the big bad. It's the Justice League film that I'm losing sleep over.
Well I still think that Justice League movie is a ways off realistically so get some sleep. As for the Avengers I just hope they handle the infinity gauntlet well if that's what they're going with. We shall see.

Indeed we shall.
I'm more worried about the Solo titles diminishing the greatness of the main Avengers movie. The solos did a good just leading up to Avengers, I'd rather them not do solos like Thor Cap or Iron Man movies and concentrate more focally on making another great Avengers film.
I'm not worried since Joss Whedon is still directing the Avengers, so I'm definitely excited for it!!!

I'm excited about it because Sony is have lots of financial issues and might have to sell spider-man :)
Also the fact that Marc Webb hinted that Amazing Spider-man was set in the Avengers universe. Marvel Studio's even acknowledged that Amazing Spider-man could be in the same universe as well. Him appearing in the Avengers is no longer far fetched at all.
I trust Joss, but I'm a little worried about Guardians movie and Doctor Strange. They are going to be hard sells.
@FearTheLiving: I don't get it either, it wasn't as good as Iron Man but it had Warmachine and Black Widow!
Personally, I did not love the Avengers film. It was enjoyable but not "OMFG BEST SUPERHERO FILM EVER" like I've heard a lot of fans say. I can think of a few that are much better (The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, Superman 1 and 2). Some people even go as far as saying it's the best film ever made...
However, I have high hopes that the 2nd film will be an improvement and hopefully it won't be another Iron Man film like the 1st.
Not very concerned. I have enjoyed every single movie Marvel has put out that I know of. Some more than others of course, but enjoyed none the less.
Whether it will be as good as the original is up to anyone's opinion, but I am certain it will make a lot of money on the box office.
@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: I know right. It definitely doesn't deserve an Oscar except for maybe best action or something like that. Especially with all the hype that was created it was kind of dissapointing because I like you know intense stuff things that have me on the edge of my seat. The Avengers was just a nice family film.

Well it was never going to be Best Picture material or anything! I was extremely happy when it wasn't nominated.
The thing I really disliked about the Avengers was how most of the film revolved around Iron Man. Iron Man helps Cap with Loki when Cap fails, Iron Man goes after Thor, Iron Man makes all the annoying/arrogant comments, Iron Man repairs the helicarrier (With some help from a soldier who isn't the best at shooting), Iron Man confronts Loki without his armor and then makes some more annoying comments. Iron Man is also the one who directs the missile away from New York and then Iron Man falls back to earth (somehow) and then Iron Man is unfortunately alive at the end.
It might as well been called "Iron Man and The Avengers" or "Iron Man and friends"
I'm not worried since Joss Whedon is still directing the Avengers, so I'm definitely excited for it!!!
@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Yeah Iron Man was annoying. After the movie Iron Man, he's really arrogant I don't even want to see Iron man 3 because of it. His sacrifice was pointless because Thor could have done that no problem. The thing that really annoyed me is how he kept hurting Loki.

Yeah, I agree with you 100%! I've already decided that I'm going to be avoiding Iron Man 3, simply because I cannot stand him anymore.
To be honest, I'll walk out of the cinema during the Avengers sequel if it revolves around Iron Man yet again.

@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Well I don't think I'll walk out of the theatre but I would be very disappointed.
I've only ever walked out a few times in my life. One of these times was for a Marvel film (Ghost Rider). But then again, I haven't bothered to see the Marvel films I'm less optimistic about in the cinema.

@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Haha I don't know if I could just leave though because I would probably wonder what hwppens next or something but Ghost Rider was a bad movie.
I hope "bad" was an understatement! ;) I didn't even bother with the sequel.

Aha, well there are worse Marvel films! Like Elektra for example.
I was surprised how well it was executed. I thought that he would only be able to include one scenario. Either Loki controlling Hulk would take up the whole movie or his Chitauri invasion did. I'm pleased he included both.
