It's true, sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words- especially when you put it in the context of the current storyline. Case in point, a leaked image of Uncanny X-Force #12 reveals a kiss being shared by X-Force teammates Psylocke and Fantomex. Don't get me wrong, any make-out session that graces a cover of a comic will always make me want to pick it up- but this image is particularly jaw dropping. I am in no way exaggerating, either- when I first saw the image my jaw literally dropped. If you have been reading Rick Remender's run on X-Force, then chances are you may have picked up on Fantomex's attraction (be it physical or otherwise) to Psylocke.
Even if you have not, it is certainly something you might want to go back and look for in the last six issues of the series because it is so well done. Remender subtly lays the groundwork for a (adulterous?) relationship to blossom- and even if it only happens in Fantomex's imagination, there's a good chance Psy could find out about it. With Psylocke being responsible for taming Warren's dark side, a kiss like this could be the end of the team. How patient will Psylocke continue to be with Warren's ( Archangel) multiple personality disorder (can I call it that?)?
