But we'll never see that (as canon) because mental insanity would be out of character for Batman.

It interests me to see how much people go on how they hate the portrayal of certain characters and how they are acting "out of character" They claim to play the game, but if they did then they wouldn't be saying that. It's all explained. Most people see a few screens from the comic and get upset wonderwoman and supes is acting different than the one they know and love.

Play the game then see if you feel the same, heck if you dont want to play it watch a game play video with the cutscenes. One of the first vids you watch will make things more clear. Not saying you'll like it but it will be more clear.

No game is perfect and Injustice isn't trying to break any new ground in terms of the visual department. We are all interested because we want to beat the living daylights out of other characters! :D

Agreed. Though speaking of graphics, remember that time a ship blew up in Halo 4 and it was hilariously terrible? I was expecting something like the Scarab explosion in Halo 3. Instead, the ship vanishes for a split second and then there's a generic explosion. LAME.

As for some complaining about the graphics, I don't see how that's really a focus here. I understand it's a little low compared to today's standards, but if it tells a story, then I couldn't care in the slightest. All that matter to me is that gameplay is fluid and the demo has proven that, so I'm a happy camper!

Doesn't look great, but the gameplay looks (and feels) decent. Still worth a try, anyway. (Plus, Nightwing and Raven. Aww yeahhh!)

The funny thing is...I know that Supes punched his hand through Joker's chest from what was shown in the comic. And yet how its portrayed here STILL made my eyes go wide and my mouth emit a gasp.

I wouldn't worry too much about Superman's portrayal. The decent, good-guy Superman is still in the game.

That means it's using the same graphics that the gameplay itself uses. They don't have improved graphics just for cinematics (like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, for example).

I hate the Jokers voice, I hate batmans voice and I thought the graphics before the interrogation were doodoo... Still getting the game though :P

Game looks like crap along with the terrible costume designs.

Meh cinematic could've been better... Batman was acting like what you see in a police interrogation in a movie.. Which is not like him.. he usually interrogates people with his fists... Superman looked like he had a wedgie... The voice acting though was... ugh.

Excited to play the game.

My god what engine are they using!!! Whatever it is STOP USING IT NETHERREALM!!!! Looks like crap! And that superman walk was just atrocious. But the story was so damn good though.

Also, the comic insulted Supes' integrity in the same way, but this opening scene goes further. Joker literally calls Superman "Dumb" and of inferior intelligence to Batman, which ends up feeling more like a personal Batfans opinion coming through the Joker's dialogue. Basically, I question the purity of their intentions for including the dialogue, I assume its so Batfans sitting around can go, "BURN! Superman is so dumb."

Anyway, moving on, I dont mind the voice acting here at all (who doesnt prefer Hamill overall?), but the dialogue is weak. And the graphics are really crappy, which really does make Supermans costume look wonky, like he's wearing an uncomfortable diaper.

Graphics-wise, We've know from the beginning that this games wasn't the most "beautiful" game ever. If the graphics didn't turn me off way back then, then they sure as hell won't with this video. Been playing the hell out of the demo. Tuesday can't come soon enough!!

To me Superman is incorruptible and the ideal we should all aspire towards and I really dislike this Batman centric storyline where Batman is the one in the right and he is the one who needs to take him down, complete bull shit Batman is the one who would lose his sanity especially since he is already on the edge. To me this story has done a good job of justifying Superman and making it a more complex "villian" if you can even call him that. In my view even this version of Superman is still a better hero then Batman especially if existed in the real world.

Agreed. I love Hamill but the voice in this game sounds pretty great as well. I think I like John DiMaggio better but that may only be because I haven't heard Richard Epcar's full performance yet.

I really like that the plot/storyline feels very much like a 'one off miniseries' like a Kingdom Come or a Dark Knight Returns!

You have a right to criticism, but keep in mind the sheer amount of fans built over decades that'll react harshly to negative criticism. The Internet can be a scary place for negative criticism.

If you were a human cop would you risk your neck against Superman to save The Joker?

@mbecks14: This is not about "power courrupting" it's about what would a real person do if their city with millions of human lives, of people that you knew and love were destroyed in a blink of an eye and on top of that you were tricked into murdering your own wife and unborn child and all those millions of deaths were all your fault and even with all that power you were unable to save them, how would you react ? If I were in Superman's place I would kill the Joker I don't know who would'nt because the United States of America and other countries would execute the Joker, countries and people have killed people for much less then that. So no Superman was not corrupted by power he was just overwhelmed by grief and guilt and did what most people would have done in his place.
