Those are some large turtles.

Posted by RulerOfThisUniverse

That was awesome right until the turtles came on.

Posted by kingdomenic

Um, yeah, that didn't do anything for me either way. I still don't know.

Only Michael Bay can make a movie where mutant turtles cause so much destruction to a car...

Posted by longbowhunter

My expectations are pretty low, but I do hope the movie is good.

this is the cbm order I would rank them:

4captain america

5ninja turtles

But honestly, I will probably just buy son of batman and season 2 of arrow and save my movie money.

Ugh my gut feelings and suspicions about this film were all confirmed within 36 seconds. Sucks that this was the case but it was to be expected in all honesty. Maybe the full trailer will somehow make things better but I'm doubting that.

I don't know about this movie as of yet. Can't form a strong opinion one way or the other.

Better then I thought it would be

I don't care for their deigns. I don't like that they are apparently 6 and 1/2 feet tall and wear tattered clothing, just seems kind of unnecessary. Thats just picking nits though.

I trust it will be good, it's hard to mess up Ninja Turtles. If you make it serious and mature, it matches up with the original interpretation, if you make it ridiculous and silly then it fits with a bunch of their other incarnations. It's really hard to make a bad movie about TMNT

*Thinks of Ninja Turtles 3*

I seem to be the only one mildly excited for this. I mean it cant be any worse than the old ones can it?

i'll give this movie a shot & check this out.

It looks Michael Bay-ed....

Actually not bad from the trailer.

Posted by Kal'smahboi

I thought it looked great. I mean, it's extremely preliminary, but I'm interested.

Posted by TazzMission

looks pretty solid but i need more honestly to give a full decision if i will see it or not

Edited by Master_Thief

ummmmmmmmm huh

Posted by RulerOfThisUniverse

The full trailer was much better IMO, at least up until the mask joke.

Posted by Sawcesome

I'm still gonna go see it opening day since it's the TMNT, but...I dunno. I just feel like this is an attempt at another blockbuster, and not an actual TMNT film.

Or something like that.

doesn't look that bad actually.

Now if only april wasn't played by Megan Fox, then my excitement would be greater.

yea thats my only small complaint really is fox. i will say the shredder armor looks bad ass as do the turtles

I get it. I just don't know about seven-foot turtles. Michelangelo's characteristics are there for sure. But the Turtles are gigantic. My expectations--like many--are not very high for the newest film. (Plus, the "We've been waiting for you, Miss O'Neal," from the original film's teaser is burned in my memory.)

It's a different market now. Back in the late 80's/early 90's, the Turtles were a hot commodity. I don't believe the demand for a new Turtles film is there at this point in time. (Then again, I don't watch much Nickelodeon.)

A lot of websites/bloggers shot the film down when first seeing the actors in their CG suits. I was skeptical but wanted to see the finished product. The trailer leaves me with doubts, but I this film has my money already. I loved the Turtles as a 10 year old. I'll be interested to see how this new tale turns out.

I just want to know who saw those faces and said "You know what, that looks really cool and we should totally go with that!" because that person should be shunned. Shunned, I say!

Saw another movie with Megan fox the other day: terrible...

I was thinking the same thing!

I don't know...maybe I'm just looking for a reason to hate this...but why are they so huge!?

Megan Fox? *sighs*

Edited by SanoHibiki

Movie with Megan Fox…

I’ll pass that.

Posted by Jonny_Anonymous

The trailer isn't that bad except how can the turtles be ninjas when they are like mini-Hulks? Also boooo Megan Fox you suuuuuck.

Edited by ccraft

Wow... Okay it didn't blow my mind or anything, but that was cool. The short Donnie scene looked cool, Leonardo looked extremely cool until Mikey had to ruin it :P The face isn't that bad, it looks similarly shaped to the comics but with 3D/CGI. Lets just hope they keep that mask on lol.

I really don't like the idea of Shredder being a "good guy", but it seems like he's only pretending to be, which is better... Those were Shredder's foot soldiers wrecking up NYC, maybe he ordered them to cause chaos so he could trick April's father into creating super soldiers for his army.

Shredder having a hand in creating the turtles could be something that leads him to create more mutants, I really really really hope we see Slash, Bebop and Rocksteady. In later films of course...

Hrrrrm...I will allow it. But I'm watching you turtles.

I'm not excited, but I am interested. I like the look of the turtles, but damn, they're tall. The action looks good. The tone seems good. But its an action teaser so......

Edited by w0nd

It's funny all these declarations were made how they would stay true to the origins and what not, which clearly isn't the case. That's fine, but they always do this, they always say that but then change it haha. Also the whole" we aren't naming it teenage mutant ninja turtle" was thrown out the window too i guess. Stuck with the teenage bit.

Posted by Jonny_Anonymous

@ostyo: He was a lot bigger than Megan Fox

Also notice how they didn't even advertise the director?
