My goodness, did they splice them with Rhino's or Galapagos Tortoise's?

Overall, Nothing here that made me excited, in fact this really just killed any thoughts I had on wanting to see it.

But I have younger sons, so they may want to see it ( over my dead body, have to raise them right lol)

As somebody who isn't that big a fan anymore, I think this looks pretty cool.

The one thing I don't like is Megan Fox as April, Hopefully she's recast if there's a next one. I actually think the turtles being tall makes them more badass, and clothes makes more sense if they're going for a serious tone. Who would take four three feet tall naked turtles seriously. They gotta be big ugly and badass to be taken seriously.

Well it's Splinter from Japan and isn't he tall. I mean they could just make him CGI, but I from the rest of the cast every seems off.

Are you angry that a rat is being played by a white dude? Or by a midget? What were they supposed to do, find an actual giant speaking rat?

Because we're comic book fans and whining just comes with the territory. lol We see one thing out of place or one character who doesn't look or act EXACTLY like they do in the comics and we go ballistic. xD

Forgot about the mask joke,yeah,it was a well-written joke...perfectly fine!

The turtles look awesome,in character,and the voices are a match to them........i really dont get people who are dissapointed in this....

Same here. I even liked the little mask joke at the end. The fact that they're at least attempting to put humor in this movie, trying to make it fun yet still mature and serious, is something I'm happy to see.

I also think that the Turtles look pretty awesome as well, being these huge creatures yet are nimble and able to leap across rooftops in the night like a ninja.

@ironangelx: @thebluedragon07: According to IMDB Splinter is played by another white guy and is a midget. No offense to the actor, but that's not Splinter. Looking at IMDB's cast list really make me fear this movie is going to bomb.

i really liked it actually. I like that they are bigger and more durable (taking out a hummer)

The "batter-up" comment reminded me of Casey Jones from the first TMNT movie. Ahhh...good times.

Also, it's hard to be a stealthy ninja when you're so fucking big you make building crushing sounds when you land.

The idea that they have more individualized attire is the only good thing i took from this.

Previews are previews. They are almost NEVER a good gauge for how good or bad a movie is going to be.

All I can say is, they've definitely succeeded in mutilating the design of the turtles.

You name,any rational person on the planet who saw this,and didn't like the was Leo jumped of the water tank,and landed on the ledge,or the Don-Raph bit at the snow.......i find it impossible not liking.

Seems way better than I thought, so I'll keep an open mind. As for the whole Megan Fox thing I barely recognized her so it makes no difference to me that she is in the film. But what they did Mikey and the mask now that captures that lovable goof ball that he's know for being.

I just don't have any feeling on this. I was hoping it'd be good, but at this point in time I'm just left feeling blank. Like, "yeah this is a thing now". It's not excitement. It's not dread. I'm just ambivalent.

Trailer seems somewhat amateurish. Not what you'd expect from a major studio.

Pros:

Action looks pretty well done

Humor isn't lacking (I found Mike's scene hilarious)

Like the "adventurous" flare the movie may have if they're travelling to different locations

Turtles kind of look cool

Cons:

Megan Fox

White Shredder. Is it Shredder though?

No good view of Donny and Raph

Speculations:

White Shredder isn't actually Shredder but is Kraang. I'll explain why. Why would Shredder be interested in ooze? Especially if the ooze is of "alien" origin. It makes since to me why that would be Kraang. Maybe real Shredder is investing somehow in this fake Shredder aka Kraang's experiments.

IDK, we'll see.

Also, for their sake, not a good idea to open only a week after Guardians of the Galaxy.

Looks alright even though I hate Megan "all the lips," Fox is in it. However where is the fifth turtle aka Pizza!

@wolverine08: They can try. Hopefully they realize if they treat the product with a bit of respect they already have a built in audience and go that route.

Hey I am recovering from college rejections, anything decent is great right now.

The non-Turtle stuff in the trailer didn't really get me going, but I liked the brief moments with the Turtles and think they look great.

@risingbean: Yeah, with the TMNT, since they are brothers, you actually have to create decent character development and interaction. Bay can't get away with endless explosions here.

I wonder if Splinter will be in this movie, and if he is, I wonder who they will portray him.

@granitesoldier: I assume it's aim dodging and give it some leeway. Stuff like fighting for 30 hours straight, breaking bullet resistent glass or whatnot without tech? That gets me. I don't care, Batman juices.

In this case, it's not a deal breaker, but my eyebrow went up when I saw it.

I don't expect it to live up to Cap, or Spidey this year but I am looking forward to seeing it.

@wolverine08: I like explosions well enough. I prefer engaging characters, and in the case of TMNT ninja shenanigans. I don't recall the 1990 TMNT having many if any explosions. It's still the standard.

@risingbean: Keeping in mind comic book mikitary equipment it doesn't bother me. Trust me I still sometimes cringe at Batman or Green Arrow casually dodging bullets. It wouldnt be that way in reality but I need to remind myself it isn't reality.

I am pretty psyched for the new TMNT though.
