Well, it looks like we potentially know why Superman goes willingly in handcuffs. The viral campaign for Man of Steel has begun and the official Facebook page released a video message from General Zod the other day. Titled "You Are Not Alone," Zod demands for Earth to hand over the Kryptonian... or face severe consequences.
As for the handcuffs, it seems fair to assume Kal resists at first, but then Zod lives up to his threat and Superman feels like he has no other choice but to be handed over. What do you think, Viners? Personally, this film is soaking most of my hype when it comes to comic book movies.
Man of Steel will fly into theaters June 14th.
