Still not sure how I feel about this movie but that was a pretty good trailer. It didn't show way too much and that's always appreciated.

Journey into Mystery. Blame it. It created a wave of Loki fans both girl and boy.

i would love to see loki fight the villain in this one. That would be bad ass. Loving the epic battle scenes.

Looks good. I'm actually more excited for this then for Iron Man 3. I also hope they spend more time in Asgard and less time on Earth (which looks to be the case based on the trailer). The Asgard scenes were the best part of the first Thor.

This trailer looks absolutely amazing. I agree with everyone who said that it looks better than the first film. I was antsy in anticipation before this point, now I'm not sure how on Earth I can possibly hold off until November.

well the first movie set the bar so low this is bound to be an improvement.

Also good to see Loki's prison sentence wasn't too long. Clearly everyone overreacted to his goofing around on earth, and the whole trying to kill his brother thing.

Only real question is are they going to pull Odin sleep again or some other plot device to remove Odin or make him ineffectual right when he'd be needed most

I actually want to see this movie and not just because it is another Superhero movie.

I hope Jane dies. Kind of like thor is destined to fight the midgar serpent in the end of times, so is he destined to be with sif.

@uncanny_doom: I don't know. I was hoping for a good explanation on how he got back to Earth in Avengers but what we got was it took some Magic. So magic will be the solution.

Here's hoping that it's better than the first one..and that Jane Foster doesn't get as much useless screen time.

Yeah, I wonder how they'll explain that. It was clear he used it to get to Earth and when he popped in during battle that was the same kind of effect.

The Bifrost doesn't look like something you can just get some Asgardian labor workers to fix over a summer.

I didn't really like the first Thor. In fact, in my honest opinion, I think the first film was the weakest from Marvel's phase 1.... But this... Woohh boy... This looks so damn good.

Well, this movie definitely has more action, suspense intrigue etc, which is to be expected. Now that the basics have been explained, time to turn things up a notch. Less Midgard. More of the other 9 Realms.

So what are the chances that SIF will help Loki in his inevitable double cross? If the plan involves taking Jane out of the picture (without killing her....maybe) and having Thor to herself.

In all honesty, as far as teaser trailers go, I think this is the best teaser trailer in comic book movie history. Its nearly on par with Man of Steel's 3rd trailer, which revealed major parts of its movie. Visually, it looks like a mix between TDK and Game of Thrones. This movie has the look of being legendary. Game of Thrones director is taking this series to new heights...

Yep. In my opinion, this movie will be better. But I will save my final opinion when I see them. But this is coming from the guy who thinks Man of Steel won't be that good.

Teaser for a movie that won't see the light of day for seven months VS a trailer for a film that will be out in less than two months. MOS teaser consisted of nothing more than announcing Nolan was involved in it and showing Superman fly, this is fair to say a lot better.

@cap10nate: well i say it looks better because: there are scenes here that were not in the first movie, it takes place on asgard which is what i wanted in a thor movie in the first place, and i've been reading pretty much everything about this movie since it they began production so excited for stuff and people that they didnt show. a movie with thor on asgard trumps a movie with thor on earth anyday.

personally i was disappointed with the first thor movie, hated the trailer cause it made the movie look so cheap showing him earthbound and powerless versus him slaying giants and so forth. still went in hoping for the best but seriously didnt care for any of the scenes outside of asgard. loki was definitely that movie's saving grace but overall it was a bore. in this film thor looks thored up!!! and did his hammer get bigger lol? a couple of scenes stood out to me: Frigg with a knife looking menacing at someone and Jane on a glowing slab. i wonder if they are "healing" her after the attack by Malekeith and maybe share a little asgardian power with her to save her life

I love the not "if" but "when" you betray me part ... film's looking good. Very awesome year to be a comic book fan.

I don't.... did I see a different trailer than the rest of the you? that was nothing. Iron Man 3's first trailer blew me away, and Man of Steel as well, but this? tame by any standard.

It looks decent. I'll probably rent it for sure, but I won't see it in the theaters.
