We're coming up to James Bond film number 23? Really? Well, at least with the last two films, we're back to adaptations of Ian Fleming's work, and not Pierce winking at the camera for a hour and a half to some ridiculous story. Anyway MI6 got some info on the next James Bond film starring Daniel Craig. Yes, Craig is already signed on. Screenwriter Peter Morgan assures the audience that this film will provide jaw-dropping entertainment and revelations:

From July until October this year, Morgan was writing the first draft of Bond 23 - the third outing for Daniel Craig as 007. "It's a shocking story", he said after admitting he couldn't give anything more away... Being on the 007 team is a new experience for Morgan. "Bond creates a hysteria around it, one that I haven't previous known", he said. "It's a magnet for publicity - everyone wants to know what's going on with the new Bond".

Peter Morgan is an award-winning screenwriter with recent titles under his belt such as Frost/Nixon and The Queen, so if he says it's shocking, you better believe some craziness is about to happen. But, what is going to happen? You can't really kill James Bond off, since these past two films take place in the beginning of James' career as an agent. What do you guys think will happen? Maybe we'll see a James Bond Jr.? (NOTE: The cartoon James Bond Jr was actually James' nephew, not his son, making that show worthless)

The next installment is expected to hit theaters in November of 2011.  MI6 suggested a 11/11/11 release date.
