Will definitely be watching!

Even though i'm indifferent to him smoking, i'm quite pleased they portray him a little less of the cunt he is in Hellblazer. Constantine being constantly an arrogant egotism douchebag was one of the main reasons why i dispise the character. Usually i like the runs and overall series, i just cant deal with his dickhead behavior. So, i'm happy when i sense NBC softening his bad habits :)

I'll give this a shot and hope it will be good, but I did find something off/disappointing about the trailer.

@billy_batson: It's not even just the girl though, he seems really energetic like the more reacent doctors and the fact they're trying to erll him as this mystery man that goes around solving abnormalities. Time will tell though and I'm still excited for it I regard less.

Upon rewatching the trailer idk why, but I'm getting a Dr Who vibe now more than Hellblazer.

As a huge Hellblazer fan here are my worries:This feels very Hollywood, and makes him seem the Bad boy with the golden heart instead of the jerk he is. Does Constantine try to do good? Generally, but his true skill is in outsurviving friends and tricking his enemies. It is only a clip and i want to support show, but it made me worry a little..

@billy_batson: Surely if DC owns the character it's up to them how his name is pronounced? I know it was shown to be Constan-tyne in the comics but that's just work for hire. Sure, it's not necessarily professional of them to change it if it's already been established, but they have that right.

I feel like in HB he wasn't really heroic but I felt a form of heroism from Alan Moore's "American Gothic" storyline was present in the character, so maybe they looked to that story for some character inspiration?

I got excited but then my skepticism set in after a few seconds. It might end up like Arrow where the first season is a bit of a drag but picks up. Could use better acting from the girl most def.

Wrong. Marvel cinema is more popular with children though, can't argue that :) We'll talk in 5 or so years when DC has further reinforced their cinematic position, with hopes that they don't wear their characters dry or increase output while compromising quality or tone.

Anyway, this trailer is pretty good!

I wonder if this TV series will last longer than Dresden Files.

I'm not sure why some people are mad at his accent...I didn't really have a problem with it, both from the trailer and the one scene I saw. Overall, I thought the trailer looked really promising.

Cheesy in a bad way (especially some dialogue), bad CGI, and an overly long first clip that tries to jam too much in. I'm not enthused.
