I'm not as familiar with Constantine as some, but I'm still looking forward to this series.

Also @g_man; I saw another clip this morning where he pronounces his own name. It's "Constan-TEEN". Thought you might be interested. :)

I never imagined they would make something that look so right.

I will miss the cigarettes though. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

That looks good But I have 1 important complain that if I am wrong my turn it to amazing.

My problem is that Constantine looks like he gives a f**k, and I don't really sense that snarky douchebag in him, but then again this is a 3 minute trailer, so I could be wrong.

@nahuel: I think TV's have to restrict smoking scenes, and having a main character smoke is not really restricting it.

Wow, I'm really impressed by the upcoming DC shows. I'm happy that DC might be able to exist well on TV!

@2cool4fun: Thanks for the clarification. Hope they at least insinuate he smokes (a lot) so we see him struggling with cancer...

Three things I would like to see in the first season.....

1. The female lead dies, because all of John's friends get killed.

2. He goes back to london.

3. As the season goes on his coat gets dirtier and more worn out....

I'm... intrigued. Blonde, smarta**, Constantine is a good start. Still need to see whether or not he's a lying, backstabbing, scoundrel more evil than some of the demons he faces. I doubt it, given from what I've seen thus far, but there's always room for a character to stop giving a f***. And if the crux of the series is Constantine TRYING to be a better person in spite of his previous lying, backstabbing, scoundrel ways in order to win back his soul, only to keep falling back into old habits...

I'd be onboard with that. And given that the trailer shows him checking himself into an asylum, immediately walking away from a possessed girl before realizing he should go fix it, and selling his soul and another girls... I'd say there's a good chance that might be the way they're going.

... I just really hope that girl he stopped with a taxi isn't supposed to be Zatanna.

I hope she doesn't appear at all :)

I dunno, man... Girl just discovering magic abilities, her mysterious father disappeared for reasons unknown, Constantine knew said father, and has an interest in protecting her...? Sounds like what they might try to make Zatanna into.

I really love Supernatural but Hellblazer is not Spn. That's the problem.

I think this looks great so far. The only thing that's missing in the trailer is his "cleverness" and wit but that's hard to convey in one shot and doesn't really bring in viewers. I hope they write the character well. Seems pretty spot on otherwise :)

I'm surprisingly impressed. My only complaint would be his voice, but I can get over that.
