I shall miss him on Aquaman. May they find a worthy replacement for that stellar book.

Oh man! I'm gonna miss Jim Lee but if I could pick anyone to replace him it would be Ivan Reis. I'm stoked! But I feel this raises a bigger question: ....what about Aquaman?

noooo, jim lees art rocks and johns writing sucks(at least on this book). johns should have left and jim stayed. also ivan was killin it on aquaman and now probably has to leave.. this news is horrible

I think this confirms that Johns is in fact staying on Aquaman!!! Plus a whole arc built around what used to be the biggest joke of a character DC comics had? Things really have changed.

1. Well it looks better on some, like Cyborg doesn't look half as clunky as he did under Lee...but I wish DC could keep it consistent on how big Diana's bracelets are supposed to be.
2. After reading the words of GJ here's my advise to him; How about you actually make a world and let the paint dry before you decide to rebuild it all over again?
3. I dont know, but is this upcoming story not just another attempt at making Aquaman seem cool?
4. Why isn't Johns stopping too? :(

YES! I've always wanted Reis to draw Batman more! The way he makes his eyes all dark is incredible, and he makes every character he draws look ten times as epic as they were before

I for one am glad Lee is off the book. Don't get me wrong, I love his art. But, he's not good at making deadlines, and the fact that he can only do four issues every six months really limits Johns's storylines.

Maybe Wally gets a glory return?

Good choice. What will Jim Lee be doing now? I know he's a busy man nowadays, but he can't keep his art from the world! He's just too good.

Because an artist can only do so much at one time. I can't remember any artist who has worked on multiple titles simultaneously

Yeah, writing takes a lot less time and effort than art duties does.

This sucks. It seems DC are incapable of leaving things alone. Aquaman was incredible with Reis on it.

If Jim Lee can't make deadlines then he should stop drawing monthlies and focus on all the corporate nonsense he seems to love doing. The guy irritates me to no end.

I love both Mr. Lee and Mr. Reis. They are both amazing artists and I'm very excited about this news.

Only Aquaman's face on the cover of #16 is weird...

LOVE Captain Marvel joining the team, means that he starts as a good guy and not some jerky kid with super powers and is a jerk. Sort of think the Justice League should add another female member though. Someone as powerful as Wonder Woman I guess, since they are all super duper powerful (except Batman, but he is Batman so...) but some other female member too. But who? Zatanna maybe? Power Girl? Starfire? Batwoman? Who do you guys think would work?

I haven't been picking up Aquaman, but when I've flipped through it at the comic store, the artwork does look awesome. So I'm ok with it.

Here's my problem. DC is saying that Jim Lee is done with his art duties as of Issue 15. Well, Tony Daniel is doing art for # 13-14, then Reis picks up at 15. So in other words, 12 was Jim Lee's last issue!! I really wish we could have had one or two more issues with Jim Lee's art on JL before moving on, or that DC had gone ahead and announced that Lee was done as of 12 back when they said that Daniel was filling in for 13-14. *Sigh* oh well.

I hope that Lee will be doing a book that I'll be interested in, as it's hard for me to go long stretches without seeing his artwork. Please let it be a new Superman book with Scott Snyder!!

I'm not surprised, but I'm worried what will happen to Aquaman now. Jim Lee has been wasted on Justice League, and it seems that now Ivan Reis will be wasted on Justice League as well. That is about the best replacement artist DC could pick. But I dropped that book despite Lee's art, and Reis will not convince me to come back on board. I have some hope for JLA though, that book feels like something Johns is honestly interested in exploring, whereas he's doing Justice League just because it has to exist.
