So Flashpoint is, in fact, going to reboot the Animated Cinematic Universe. I'm ok with it. I'm glad they got Brainiac in before they did this though.

So it'll cover the first 6 issues on Justice League. Cool.

Hopefully they don't go the Flash Paradox way with the animation.

If it's anything they need to do, It's a new Flash movie. And I know they're coming out with Flashpoint, but that was a comic that was about all of DC.

But, yea, anything animated by DC makes me happy.

YES!Hopefully this means the start of the new 52 animated! Think how awesome a Throne of Atlantis or Villains Journey film would be! Then we can get a Shazam and JLA movie that can eventually lead to Trinity war. My only complaint is that they only put out 2 a year. They need to bump that to at least 3 or 4.

I dont understand why people are craving for movies based on the New-52 I mean you guys just read these same stories just months ago(Trinity War has barely started and already there is lobbying for it?) what's the flipping point? you wanna pay for the same thing twice? in such a short period no less.

Idk... This wasn't that great a story. There wasn't much story in the arc to begin with. I'll give this movie a go obviously, but I hope they don't venture too much into the new 52. Court of Owls would be where I'd draw the line, MAYBE Throne of Atlantis, but even that's pushing it

@entropy_aegis: Because reading comics and watching movies are different? If they suddenly decided to make a Flash live action film based on the New 52, would you actually opposite it because 'we just read the story'?

Seems they are scraping the bottom now... but then again, like the other movies, it wont be directly adapted from the book, so it might actually be good.

I guess they are using the Flashpoint movie to do New 52 movies? I REALLY hope they do Court of the Owls, but in two parts like they did The Dark Knight Returns so they can fit everything in.

So much this. As a result, they may well now adapt New 52 stories rather than the rich Pre Flashpoint history yet to be mined. This does not please me at all.

My thoughts exactly. Don't understand all the "awesome sauce" comments when it's based off a story which is well known for its mediocrity. Would have much rather seen a Grant Morrison JLA story.

Plus, do we really need to see this again?

Hopefully it is going to be better than the arc it is based on. That arc was just mediocre at best, have a feeling the story is going to be flowing better animated.

Eeeh.....admittedly, I'm on the fence about this. While I will most definitely give this a chance, I thought James Tucker was on record in saying that they weren't going to do that many adaptions. Just original movies. I would love to see a Young Justice movie. Or a "pure" Flash movie. Or better yet, Sinestro War Corps. Or why not take risks and do Blue Beetle or Static or Suicide Squad or Demon Knights? I don't know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

lol I never read this story arc of Justice League but apparently it wasn't all that. I would like to see Throne of Atlantis though.

James Tucker has said that these animated movies will start to change a bit from the material and I hope this movie is really different. Bad presentation with Darkseid weird character choices. A little annoyed this is the third Geoff Johns story in a row. Hopefully it is a good movie at least.

They do this but refuse to do the Judas Contract movie!? It would sell now! especially with Deathstroke and Nightwing being in injustice.

i love the idea of seeing the league again in animated form but they will push batman front and center. like always. dc needs to change.

I am on board, this was a pretty good story, not the best, but a fun one and seeing it in full on DC animated glory should be pretty awesome.

I don't want to complain, since IMO there aren't enough animated flicks already....but I'm disappointed (goodbye anything pre-52 I guess). There were multiple story arcs connected to "war", lesser known ones that could be exposed to a different audience...but nope. Having anyone other than KC doing Batman is also a terrible decision.

and hopefully they make tweaks to the story to make it alot better than it was, the writing might even be better.
but nothing jusifies how bad that "arc?" was.
