It's a Mutant Make-Out Session in Uncanny X-Force #12

These frisky mutants just can't keep their hands to themselves.

No Caption Provided

We've seen the cover to Uncanny X-Force #11 for some time now. Fantomex and Psylocke are making out. This was surprising to all because Psylocke is (or has been) in a committed relationship with Angel.

Of course that hasn't stopped Fantomex from putting the moves on her since issue #1. Based on the cover, something between the two is going to change. Covers are not always completely accurate. There has been plenty of times we've been mislead by what has been depicted on the cover and what is contained in the actual comic.

If you've been reading Uncanny X-Force lately (which you should be because it's awesome), you know that the relationship between Psylocke and Angel has been a little...strained lately. The fact that he is possessed and is fighting the evil Archangel persona makes it a little difficult for them to have quality alone time. Psylocke has been working hard to help him fight his...demon but with his recent bouts of killing, it hasn't been too easy. The team also made a trip to the Age of Apocalypse universe in order to try to find a cure for Angel.

And that brings us to issue #11. Besides Fantomex and Psylocke locking lips, we can see that they won't be the only ones involved in extracurricular activities. Now that Wolverine has come face to face with the Jean Grey from this world, it won't be too surprising what happens next.

== TEASER ==

Uncanny X-Force #12 is part two of The Dark Angel Saga. It's written by Rick Remender with pencils by Mark Brooks and colors by Dean White. The cover is by Esad Ribic with Adam Kubert providing a variant cover. The issue is on sale July 27, 2011.

Is there any chance that AoA Jean Grey will return to the 616 universe with Wolverine as I suggested before?

That's a possibility, but for now, more mutant make out sessions!

She won't return with Logan, i don't think this comic is popular/well known enough to have a thing as big as that to happen.

I'm still not sure how the AoA reality is still in existence, But on the other hand it's fiction so who cares,

It's Jean, in the AoA she has short hair

@EnSabahNurX:  Okay, that's a little better, my second question still stands though.

A Psylocke/Fantomex relationship...even a make out session...makes no sense at all.  Psylocke hates the guy and has shown no interest whatsoever.  I think it's more likely that Fantomex uses one of his misdirections to get at her.  Or maybe it's actually AoA Psylocke that Fantomex gets with?

Uncanny X-Force is one of the most popular Marvel titles right now...

I think Jean will be returning soon.  Marvel seems to be testing out how much of an appeal she still has with this and Iron Age.

Wouldn't it be rendered non existent after Xavier was saved from death, of course then it became a separate reality at that point I think the writers kept it around to milk more stories out of it, so yeah..... I just answered my own inquiry

Lol really funny title!
And I'm pretty sure Remender teased in an interview that some character was going to come and I can see it being Jean.

Was Iceman alive in the 10th anniversary mini?  I mean I'm pretty sure that they actually killed him when Colossus destroyed him in AoA: Omega

(the ones without pilots, I mean, I know the ones with pilots use to be freaky with Rachel Grey 0_0)

I wouldn't mind the whole lot of heroic AOA characters crossing over.  Sabertooth, Sunfire, Jean, etc.

In the original Marvel Zombies arc in the Ultimates, Reed took a bunch of uninfected humans over to the ultimate universe (where, for all we know, someone had them dissected like labrats because everyone in the ultimate universe is super evil).

However, this is not the way to bring "jean" back.  This is the way to bring a new group of characters to a new world where things don't suck quite as much.  It's not their reality... so what?

This would be an easy way for them to bring Nightcrawler back....even though they said he wouldn't be back this year
still- it's an easy out

It's Kirika Howlett, Wolverine's and Mariko Yashida's daughter from AoA/Earth-295. She has all of her father's powers and the adamantium skeleton. She is sort of the AoA version of X-23.

She's not the counterpart of X-23... at least not in the traditional parallel world sense we're likely to discuss here.  She is about as much a counterpart of X-23 as she is of Daken... Daken's actually much closer.

I'd be okay with her crossing over... but, AGAIN, I sort of want a whole new team of AoA X-men to cross over.  Find an excuse, put out a new X-men book "The Apocalyptic X-men"

Daken is not Mariko's son, he's Itsu's son. I realize X-23 doesn't have a mother, but still, she's just as closely related to Kirika, they all have the same father. Also, Daken's a man, I was trying to paint a picture for those of us who don't know a lot about the X-Men universe, and a female counterpart made more sense. In addition, Daken hates Wolverine, X-23 is close to him just as Kirika. Lastly, this is the reason why I said, "She's sort of the AoA version of X-23." Next time you correct someone, be sure and read the fine print.

Red Herring.

Also, fictional counterparts and role-counterparts are not the same as parallel reality counterparts.

Would the AOA jean grey cross over to the mainstream Marvel Universe ? Maybe... but you can be sure that having 2 phoenix forces in the same universe will trigger another epic scale Marvel crossover event :P I can even come up with some interesting names for the event :P The Phoenix Wars  .... The War of The Phoenix.... M'Kraan Wars.... The Summers-Grey War... Hmm.. come to think of it, that last one Summers-Grey War could bring Nate Grey and Cable into the picture ? Anyway, I'm letting my imagination run wild here :D

I dont like the fact that Jean is there after the huge disaster that was the AOA anniversary mini-series, it was the biggest piece of garbage and this just reminds me of that
