It seems the papparazzi are out in full force on the ROBOCOP set, doing everything and anything to catch a glimpse of actor Joel Kinnaman suited up as Murphy, a cop who is fatally injured and undergoes a surgical procedure that leaves "him half man, half machine and all cop."
This isn't the first time we've seen images of the actor in full costume, and many have had complaints about the structure and color of the new suit. It's clear that the combination of matte and shiny black is a big digression from the classic metallic Robocop outfit we saw in the first three movies as well as in the comics. Is it really that bad though? We got a closer look at the actor's costume below and we'll let you be the judge. What do you think of the new, more modern Robocop? Do you like what you see, or are you one of the many who thinks they shouldn't have tampered with the original? Let us know in the comments.
ROBOCOP is set to hit theaters across the United States on August 9th, 2013 and will star actor Joel Kinnaman as Murphy, Samuel L. Jackson as Pat Novak, Gary Oldman as Dr. Robert Norton and Michael Keaton as Raymond Sellars. The film is being directed by Jose Padilha and is being produced by Columbia Pitcures, MGM and Strike Entertainment and is said to follow ROBOCOP 2.== TEASER ==
