Sup looks a bit anorexic -> maybe it's because i just saw "Superman vs The.Elite"...

Love the voice cast and the story but don't really think the animation should go with a story like this. IMHO. I would also love to see a HUSH film or maybe Night of the Owls.

I'll have to read the story first, then we'll see. Also, a Superman animated film without Tim Daly does not win me over.

They need to spread the love around to other DC characters. I love Supes and all but give some other characters the spotlight. I would love to see a movie featuring the other members of the Justice League. Wonder Woman only has one movie to her name and Aquaman could really use some love :(

So what are our chances of a non-batman or superman movie from DC animation these days?

Watching the DC Animated thats on Netflix. Cant wait for the two new Batmans make it, and eventually this.

Looks like it will be pretty awesome! Anyone else think that Throne of Atlantis would make an awesome animated flick? Its been great so far and unless the final chapter screws it up miserably it could be real cool. They could also do the Justice League New 52 Origin. I know some people didnt like it all that much but it was pretty much made to be a movie in my opinion.

Oh wow I didn't expect them to turn another out so soon. Holy moley. Oh hey a few familiar names from Chuck and Castle. Awesome! O.o wait our worlds are collding!? haha I love the voice talent that we'll get to see deliver an awesome script!

Anyone else notice they love the "punch the camera!" shot?  They used it three times in the trailer.

With the technology and artists they have now I don't understand why they don't make everything a little more detailed.

This looks like it could be really good and I'm sure I'll enjoy it, I'm just a little tired of every DC animated film revolving around either Superman, Batman, or both. Okay I know there are a few that don't just feature Superman and Batman i.e. the Justice League animated movies (Doom, Crisis on Two Earths, and New Frontier) and the ones that don't have Superman and Batman in them at all like Wonder Woman and the two Green Lantern movies but that's exactly my point, why can't we get more animated features like those from DC featuring characters who haven't had a chance to star in their own solo work like Flash or Aquaman... (I would also say Green Arrow but the Arrow T.V series is handling that quite nicely). Or how bout more movies based on major crossover events like Infinite Crisis, Blackest Night, or Flashpoint. Or ones that take place in another reality Kingdom Come! I'm just saying there's all kinds of material they can use from all over the DCU why do they keep going back to just Superman and Batman!?

I cannot wait for this. Brainiac was the story arc that first got me into Superman :D

I don't like the way Superman's face looks but otherwise it has me hooked.

They did the story and didn't even bother to include Mon-El.

this, I'm sure like most of the dc animations is going to be pretty good. But damn can we get some other characters besides Batman/ Superman. I would even enjoy more JL movies. Maybe they should do the right thing and make a Young Justice two part movie since its going to be off tv now, that my friends would be the tits.

wow does Brainiac sound like garbage. they really need to make film on someone else already. I don't know why they don't just a JLA film that sets up a side film for another character.

There are way too many things I'd like to see from DC in animated form. However, admittedly, Batman/Superman stuff tops most of the list. I wouldn't mind a Batman RIP animation, but I feel like that whole story is way too tangle-y and complex to fit in to one or even two films, what with the lead up, infinite crisis, Batman Reborn, Return of Bruce Wayne, etc. I suppose they could always just do the RIP bit and not go in to anything that happens after Dr. Hurt 'dies' in a helicopter crash, but that would just feel unfinished.

DC stepping up their animated movie game. The Justice League movies, The Dark Knight Returns 1&2, and now this. Can't wait to see more. Anyone else wanna see a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie?!

Agreed, I don't dig the stiff animation but it perhaps takes more money then these movies earn to include the detail we'd like? Not sure but I agree with you.

Part 1 in my opinion dwarfs part 2. Besides part 2 is what lead to the Batman vs Superman anatgonism we are still dealing with today. That book, and movie adaption before MOS drops, was horrible for Supes reputation, still is ..and all because he wanted to continue helping people while all the other heroes retired. Believe me people are finding even more reasons to hate Supes from that one stupid story.

Anywho, what do you think our chances are at a JLA - The Nail adaption next?
