@cameron83: I also find interesting that the picture of the 616 Universe behind Vision, is of OLDER versions of the characters and suits they don't wear anymore. So there has to be more to this. It's even showing characters who are dead.

What I find really odd (and something that makes me uncomfortable) is the REALLY old version of Ultimates Suits that they wear in this (especially after they just received new costumes).

But they are also showing old images of the 616 universe costumes.

And in Ultimates Disassembled,they see flashes of various points in their 616 incarnation's lives (e.g Iron Man seeing different periods of 616 Iron Man's life and is indicated by suits).

I'm expecting a crossover or something with Time Travel, maybe to the first time Galactus was fought. I think AoU was just a plot device to justify crossovers (Spider-man 2099 in Superior Spider-man for example). Maybe we'll see The Ultimates travel to 616's past (much like the original X-men are in 616's present) to see how Galactus was first fought. As long as they don't do some stupid Crisis of Infinite Earth thing where all the different universes fight against Galactus, I won't be upset.

From what I understand of what will happen of this, or at least it is pure speculation that Marvel plans to destroy the ultimates universe, Mainly because much of the main universe has some similar designs and they want to start running Miles Morales as The Amazing Spider-man.

One thing that Marvel is also going to try AGAIN is the dual numbering system with their comics. so say if they bring back Amazing Spider-man the main title would be number 1. but it would also say issue 701. Which is now more than likely that Otto is here to stay as spider-man.

I doubt they're ending the Ultimate Universe. They're probably just doing Ultimatum part 2. Remember everyone, Brian Michael Bendis is still very keen on making a Spider-Men sequel and they need the Ultimate U for that.

But incase I'm horribly wrong and they do end it for whatever reason..I'm going to be very upset. The Ultimate Universe is what got me into Marvel Comics, originally. It has a special place in my heart, even after all the changes they've made.

It's more likely to be set in 616 universe. Think of buddy cop movie sequels, they always visit the other guys home time on the 2nd one

oh god I hope they don't try to merge the two universes or have characters switching universes

My one question with this, are the 3 ultimate titles off in favor of the Cataclysm issues for each series? Or are we still getting Regular Ultimates and Ultimates Cataclysm 1-3, etc.

Confusion confusion confusion. I don't know what to think here. I loved the Ultmate Universe when it started out. It was so damn good, but then again it was pretty much just Mark Millar doing everything. Bendis was on S.M. but Millar stared the Ultimates, FF, and th X-Men, and he great runs on all of them. His Ultimates run is in my top 5 of all time. What happens to Miles now tho. That's the question.

I know, I was even getting into these characters, but the company of marvel seem to have a bad habit sabotaging their own work, and sometimes for no reason.
