First Look at Spidey's Costume in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Any clear shots of the wrists & feet? I wanna see if he's still wearing Swatchs & tap shoes.

Now that I think about it, the change is fine. It makes the first ASM costume like a "Year One" version to the finalized ASM 2 suit, now. Just sans the short purple gloves.

They finally got the eyes right.

I like this one much better than ASM 1's costume. That one was kind of awful actually... but for those that want something original, here are three concepts I found online, which I also like.

Well, is good it looks like the comics costume, but i hope he have an "inside the movie" reason for changing.

It looks better than the first movie's, but now it looks like the only thing differentiating it from the Raimi movies suit is that the eyes are bigger. I didn't like the first Amazing, but I'll probably end up giving this one a watch.

Love the new costume.Didnt like the first ASM though andhaving James Vanderbilt write the script again just gives me zero faith

They should've put the webbing and emblem in the material like the first costume instead of layering it on top.

Out of all three Spider-Man movie suits, this new one has the best eyes, though. Straight out of the books.

I like it, the big eyes especially but I did like that the 1st movie tried to be different. Probably trying to make it more apealling to those who get mad at change.

I never understood the concept on why they needed to change Spider-Man's costume. I mean it's not like the previous one was destroyed or anything.

don't give me wrong i like the look of it but it just reminds me of the Tobey Maguire suit

I'm not exactly a big fan of the costume from the last movie, though I do like it since it's quite different and unique on it's own, but you can't beat the classics. And naturally I love the original outfit :P

The Suit looks better, I hope the movie is better to. I know a lot of people liked it, but I thought it was crap. Spider-Man 2 is the best Spider-man movie to me. Still might give this one a shot if I like what I see in a trailer.

I love it, especially the eyes. They're perfect. The bold web patern is also a plus. I never cared for the raised web patern though. Would have preferred if they were more flat.

I didn't really care. The changes were fine. It was the movie that was good so I was happy, but I want to see the new one as a whole.

Looks a lot like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. But, yes I agree, it does look like it goes back to classics. Very nice. Like the bigger more, well Spider-Man-like eyes.

Originality is cool, but it would also be nice to have something original and great looking... the first suite, was not great looking. I like this non-original one much better.

Oh my gosh yes. It's the closest I've ever seen to the actual comic book Spidey.

I really like it. The eyes look dead on. Looks like they are going with more traditional and hopefully that is where the story is going. Seems like it worked for Marvel's movies.

I like the new suit better, but the first movie's suit was more original, i wonder if Rhino or Electro will destroy the suit from the first movie causing Peter to make a new one, or if it will never be explained in cannon of the movies. Still wish we got a Scarlett Spider or Spider-Man 2099 movie or even a Venom Trilogy, as vanilla Spider-Man is just not that exciting anymore, what Christopher Nolan did for the Batman franchise is what i would've wanted for a Spider-Man reboot, instead we get somewhat of a retread with better special effects, the second movie has to be a lot better to even come close to being better than Sam Raimi's trilogy minus the rush job that became SM3. Bring something new to the table or don't even try, i mean come on f'n Hollywood!

It looks too much like the tobey costume. I mean, I like it, but they should've kept it in the same kind of ball-field as the amazing spider-man suit. At least keep the same spider emblem. Well, can't wait to see the full costume.

Am I the only one who thinks that logo looks fake? the spider on his chest looks weird, kinda more blurry than the rest of him and just like how i remember the logo in the 3rd movie.

I didn't care much for the last film, and nothing I have seen yet has convinced my this will be better, but I guess I should just give it a chance, the first is always the stumbling block.

so is this a 2014 release? I feel like just yesterday Amazing came out, but I guess a bi-annual schedule makes sense.

That is the ultimate comics suit. This is closer to the source material than Tobeys ever was. White webbing is what tobey had, and wierd eyes. This one has Black webbing with PERFECT EYES. No Contest

This hot me interested in the second film, looks great! Hope theyll be staying true to comics this time ^_^

I prefer this costume. Raimi had the suit on point but I wasn't a big fan of the eyes nor the white/silver flashy webbing on the suit. The color of the suit was on point and I loved how in the shadow the blue turned black. As long as Webb keeps the eye piece and the webbing black I am happy camper. I do missed the how the webbing was imprinted in the suit on the original costume thou. Oh and Webb needs to lose the red streaks on the side of the legs, it was alright but just too weird for me. A Superior suit would have been nice thou. Heck I'll take the Ultimate suit from the t.v show, something a little different is always fun.

I prefer the new design but like the old color scheme better minus the eyes.

I'll just wait and see, although I like the eyes. I'm no critic at first glimpse.
