Exclusive Preview: SHE-HULK #6

This is the worst art I've ever seen in a comic book ever. I really feel bad for soule and am disgusted with Marvel for not just waiting for pulido rather than taint an awesome story with shit art.

The dialogue is good, but everyone looks old.

Am I the only one who finds that cover hilarious?

Pulido's art is garbage. As Ultron345 said All of his characters faces looks like an owl. I will say i thought it couldnt get any worse but damn am i wrong. When i see crap like this it makes me want to quit my job and just go and work for marvel as an artist. I cant draw for shit but i dont think that will stop me.Because it dosent stop guys like Romita,aja, Palo,Pulido and now this guy Wimberly. I dont care how good a story is it has to have good art. I cant draw to save my life but that dosent mean i cant appreciate another person's great art. Its one of the reasons i even read comics. But when i see this kind of crap which i am starting to see all of the time. It makes me want to just put down marvel. Say what you want to say about DC but they have consistenly better artist on a general level. I rarely if ever see this crap over there. Unless its in Green arrow which i dont read at all.

Pulido's art makes this look good.

I loved the art in 1-4, and absolutely hate it in 5-6. I'll keep reading but it's a massive downer for me every time I see it.

edit: Also, She Hulk seems to change colour from page to page, going from her usual green to a weird teal in some panels. I'll add that to my "weird stuff about the She Hulk art" list...

Well I think the art is okay. Not as good as Pulido's which I love but okay. But more important the book itself is brilliant.

I'd be fine with....that type of artistic style, if the characters at least looked like themselves! She-Hulk looks like a woman who took up smoking and drinking, and I mean NO offense to women who do smoke and drink, but She-Hulk looks unwell.

Good Lord, I didn't think I'd see art as off-putting bad as John Lucas on the current Deadpool arc, but this is right there.

Yeah, last issue was literally a cliff-hanger. The thing with Wimberly's interior is, I don't sense any femininity from Shulkie. Very masculine around the face and eyes ...

Wada's still bringing it, however. Love the covers.

I felt like last issue I said the art was terrible and I got bashed for it. o_o I really wish the art on this book would get better. I even miss Puildo's art, at least his jacked up faces look better than this artist's transvestite She-Hulk. Jesus. -__-

I really wish they would just let the cover artist do these books. Every cover has looked great but the comic its self has looked bad and now seeing this preview its getting much worse.

I have not read this relaunched series (so I couldn't tell you if the writing was good or bad), but every time I've read the previews I've enjoyed what little there was here on the site.

Like everyone else has said though, this artwork is just so awkward, I just have no desire to pick up this series. I'm so curious as to what the artist has been thinking with this artwork style when deciding to do the panels for this series. I'm curious if the Marvel heads who greenlit this series back into existence really thought about this. I wonder if they thought this was the right way to go with a niche series, or if they just didn't know what they were getting when they signed up the artist and it's a little late on going back with someone else.

I've bought the previous She-Hulk run and I enjoyed most of that series. Just unfortunate I have no desire to buy into this one because of the art. Especially when the Covers look so AWESOME!

I'm with everyone else I love the writing but the art… THE ART! I didn't like it before but this new artist is just horrid, the anatomy and bad proportions almost make me feel queazy. Why oh why doesn't the cover artist draw this book.

I really dont like the art but the story is solid and interesting enough to look past it.

Support the book, character, writer.
