Exclusive Preview: B&V FRIENDS DOUBLE DIGEST #225

Have you ever been given a gift that you want to get rid off but can't?

Some prefer Betty and others prefer Veronica. Archie obviously prefers both.

Veronica often gets a bad rap for being more focused on...herself. But there is more to her than people often give her credit for. Check out this exclusive preview for B&V FRIENDS DOUBLE DIGEST #225 from Archie Comics.

@Hashbrowns: My daughter reads a lot of different kinds of comics. She reads some Archie stuff. But since she's 8, she doesn't need to read all the dating stuff. As for who else reads it, it may not be for everyone but they are selling.

@G-Man: That makes a lot sense. The Archie characters have been around so long and the comics have maintained their tone all that time, I just wondered if they've maintained a consistent audience. So many other comics have had to get more "mature" (more violent, sexually explicit) to "grow up" along with their audience to keep those readers, but Archie, Betty and Veronica are still pretty wholesome and innocent. It's good to hear that they still have a solid readership.

I always pegged it as a kind of thing for everyone, but mostly kids. I loved, and still do sort of, reading these. It's not everyday you run into a good innocent comic.

Love it :) Good classic continuation of comics that I enjoyed as a kid and still enjoy as an adult.
