DC Rebirth has some startling revelations for Batman and his age-old nemesis, The Joker. Longtime Batman writer Scott Snyder is joined by Tom King, the new writer of the series. Nailbiter #22
Published by Image
Written by Joshua Williamson
Art by Mike Henderson
Alice is stepping further into the world of Buckaroo's serial killer world. The character has progressed quite a bit in this series and not so much for the better. Nailbiter is dark and brutal, but it has a brighter-side to it, without being a comedic series. Mike Henderson and colorist Adam Guzowski provide some stunning art in this series. This is overall one hell of a book you don't want to miss out on.
Civil War #1
Published by Marvel
Written by Brian Michael Bendis
Art by David Marquez
The sequel to one of Marvel's most popular stories of all time is finally here, after months of anticipation. Once again, something is going to happen that will pit hero against hero as they are dealt with another moral dilemma. The book has a dynamite creative behind it, and the events that happen within this series will no doubt have a larger effect on the Marvel universe.
Moon Knight #3
Published by Marvel
Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Greg Smallwood
It's a bit surprising to say that this is one of the best Moon Knight runs we've ever read. This series has the reader questioning whether or not Marc Spector is crazy or he's actually the superhero Moon Knight. Greg Smallwood's art, along with Jordie Bellaire's colors really give this book a beautiful, distinctive look that stays with the reader.
4001 AD #2
Published by Valiant
Written by Matt Kindt
Art by Clayton Crain
Valiant Entertainment continues to explore the far future of their shared universe with the second issue of 4001. Rai and his team of vigilantes are taking on Father of New Japan. Now, there's a X-O Manowar mecha armor thrown into the mix. Clayton Crain has been delivering some visually striking art, and writer Matt Kindt is executing some of the best stories we've read at Valiant so far.
