Now that I have voted, that's my list. I do feel that Avengers should be in its own Team Based catagory, but until Guardians of the Galaxy comes out it would pretty much be by itself lol.

Although i loved the Winter Soldier and Avengers,Iron Man is the one that holds my 1st spot.

@kennyshat: Yeah I get what you're saying, but then you can say Iron Man 2 and 3 were team movies too cause they had extra characters. Thor is a team movie cause of the Warriors Three, The First Avenger because of the Howling Commando's, but really who is the focus on? The Winter Soldier is a Captain America movie with Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Falcon, know what I mean?

2. The Avengers (Obviously groundbreaking)

3. Iron Man (I really liked the tone and dialogue)

4. The Incredible Hulk (I really like the tone and character moements)

5. Iron Man 3 ( loved the tone in the 1st half, and liked how fun it was)

6. Thor (The scenery and design were amazing. I wanted to be on Asgard for the entire thing. Great character moments

7. Captain America: The First Avenger (A heartwarming underdog story; I want to see the montage portion turned into a TV show like Band of Brothers.)

9. Iron Man 2 (Poor pacing, poor adlib, forces the Avengers set-up too hard, pretty boring at times)

@clawfist: Mm, yes and no. In those movies, the side characters were basically just there. They're glorified comic book references. In Cap 2, all four of the characters I mentioned have distinct character arcs. The focus might be on Cap, but Black Widow especially and Fury and Falcon all develop in distinct ways. The movie leaves all of them in distinctly different places than when it started. The Warriors Three are still just the Warriors Three at the end of either Thor movie.

Couldn't decide, so I went with Avengers by default.

@kennyshat: Oh I agree, that's what really makes it such a better movie than the others, but it's still Cap's movie in my opinion. He has the center floor. So I don't really count it as a team-based movie, as where in The Avengers everyone was spotlighted at the sacrifice of those story arcs you mentioned that a smaller cast has the advantage of doing.

My reasoning is that the top three films don't try to do everything. While Iron man 2,3 and Thor 2 try to be all things to all people.

Iron man 3 is a bad film because its all over the place, it wants to be a political thriller with constructed war of terror. It wants us to think it rebellious in portrayal of Iron man and the Mandarin, yet it also wants to be a generic superhero film with Ironman having a love interest aka damsel in distress. It tries to be funny with it awful awkward humour but at same time wants to take the plot seriously. It asks the audience to swing between all these different tones and the result it is confusing. Thor 2 does all these things aswell but doesn't feature as poor writing as ironman 3.

both Captain America films and Avengers keep it focused. Captain America is a superhero film with lite political elements and that's it. it doesn't force humour on the audience and it doesn't resort to the females being solely there to be rescued. Avengers is a big action blockbluster and a team film, it focuses on big action and bringing all the colourful personality of team together to overcome insurmountable odds to succeed.

Captain America the First Avenger. One of my favorite movies in general.

Avengers is still the best MCU movie for me, Iron man 1 and Winter soldier take second and third.

Although I have to say thank god Winter Soldier was as good as it was, Iron man 3 and Thor 2 were fairly terrible, nice to see them get back on track.

Origin stories are great the first time and then bore me. There's little rewatch value to me which is hugely important. The exception on my list is Thor and Thor 2. Dark World was boring and generic and predictable as f**k. It had so much potential. I don't Iron Man in the comics so the Mandarin incident didn't ruin the movie for me and it was a lot of fun. We got to see more of Tony's smarts.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The movie had a great balance of plot and action, giving all of the characters a time to shine and allowing the story to breath, while still weaving some epic action scenes into it perfectly. The storyline itself also felt like it mattered, not only giving you an idea of how big of a threat Cap was facing, but even after the threat was defeated you could feel the impact it would have on not only the characters, but the entire Marvel Universe.

This is a tough call...Marvel has yet to disappoint me...

Haven't seen Winter Soldier yet.

However Marvel Studios has yet to disappoint me with any of their flicks, and if any of them are on TV I'll end up watching them.

Winter Soldier is the better movie, but Avengers is a bit more fun to watch!

It's between Iron Man and Cap 2 for me. If you put a gun to my head, I'm picking Iron Man. It was such a great movie. Shame all the sequels don't quite measure up.

I thought it was the best film Marvel Studios has made so far because the action was great, all of the scenes were visually stunning, and the storyline surprised me by being so much more than I expected. There were so many twist and turns. The movie felt like a comic book movie and an '80s political thriller and it was a really awesome feeling knowing how much this was going to affect the MCU and how epic it felt seeing Cap go up against this bigger than imagined threat with only a small group of allies. If Marvel Studios has the same combination of all these different elements (action, twists and turns in a surprising storyline, and awesome characters) then either Guardians of the Galaxy or Avengers:Age of Ultron might be my new favorite Marvel Studios movie! :)

While i love most of Marvel the last 2 movies on this list i straight up didn't like. Still better then anything DC has put out outside of Nolans movies which i barely consider part of WBs quality with DC but more of how good Nolan is. I'm mixed on Thor 2 i liked it at first but the more i think about it the more i realise Thor 2 is kind of a piece of crap kids comedy.

Haven't seen WS yet.
