Comic Book Question of the Week Results: Favorite Current Animated Series

So, I guess Batman doesn't always win? :P

Was skeptical of the new TMNT show when it first aired. Fell in love with it. Grew up with the 80's toon, collected all the mirage comics and this show throws everything together making it a fan boy's dream come true!

I actually really like Avengers Assemble. Guess I'm in the minority it's incredibly good in my opinion.

Maybe MARVEL could read this poll, something is wrong with the shows

Oh yeah the New TMNT rocks. As a fan of the old cartoons and movie I think it captures a lot of what was great about that franchise. I really thought I wouldn't be sold on the CG art but this series proved me wrong time and time again. The other shows on this list are just not on that same level of quality yet though some of them are still in their early days. Whatever, the poll has spoken! High three!

@maxicere: Yeah, the "something wrong" is that they're on the Disney channel. Put Spider-Man back on MTV and maybe we can get a good show out of it.

TMNT for me.

If this poll happened when we've gotten a whole season of Batman instead of just 4 episodes...I bet the results could have easily been different seeing how well BtB is actually doing.

But for me whats puzzling is why does DC kill it every time in comparison to Marvel in animation, but comics it struggles with competing, and movies (besides Batman) it also has a hard time matching up...

Ninja Turtles has been pretty awesome. Not a fan of Beware the Batman though. Been following it but I just can't get into it. Maybe eventually I dunno. ;/

I don't particularily like TMNT (just in general) but I recognize how solid and all around good that show is. But yea it's really easy to vot none of them when 3 of the choices are basically universally scorned for existing (damn you Joef Leob)

@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: I saw Hulk Agents of SMASH and I must say that it blows Ultimate Spider-Man AND Avengers Assemble out of the water. It's actually good!!!!! Nothing cringe worthy in it, yet anyway as I only saw the first episode, but I like it so far. Now I wait for them to cancel it for being too good.

so you're saying that the Spider-man series on MTV was good?

@2cool4fun: did you watch episode 1 of hulk the agent of smash? its an ok show, they broke the fourth wall, but the fourth wall they broke is far better than ultimate spider man fourth wall. try and watch hulk agent of smash. you are gonna love it.

I like most of the shows that were on the list, but I just thought TMNT is a better successor to the old show, than the others shows to their previous incarnations (except Beware the Batman, I haven't seen that one).

@g_man: a lot of non US readers couldn't vote (like me) since we don't get those shows that easily. The only way for me to watch Avengers or Beware the Batman would be illegally over the internet, so I don't. I have to wait for them to hit DVd or blu and then import them from the states (it was the same with young justice and I still haven't seen the second season of that)

marvel just isn't bringing it when it comes to cartoons right now. avengers emh, wolverine and the x-men, x-men evolution, and their whole 90s lineup were great.

dc is doing good. green lantern tas and young justice ended too soon. but beware the batman is good(and that's coming from a batman hater) and teen titan go is at least funny. but the original teen titans was better.

tmnt is what I voted for. the turtles are great for television series when written right.

Seriously?!!!! Avengers Assemble should beat all of those shows. If I had any say in the matter TMNT would be last preceded by Teen Titans Go!, Beware the Batman, and Ultimate Spiderman

How many votes were influenced by the anger of Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes being cancelled? I liked both and I like the new ones too.

Beware the Batman is actually pretty good. If it had been on as long as TMNT currently has I would imagine those numbers would be reversed. Eventually the haters that dismissed it before it even aired will give it a chance. Still getting 22% of the vote after only four or five episodes is impressive.

Beware the Batman has been pretty solid actually. I was sceptic about the series, but I've been proved wrong.

As for USM...no. Spectacular Spider-man was a great show. I'm still disappointed it was cancelled, same thing with Young Justice.

Those two should've been in the poll instead.

It's a good thing my favorite cartoon TMNT came on number 1! But Teen Titans Go! should have been on number 2 instead of Beware the Batman. In my opinion I think it's a better show.

Have just attempted to watch the first episode of 'Avengers Assemble'. Had hopes for the series given how enjoyable Avengers EMH was. Sadly it's extremely poor, on several levels... not a patch on its precursor. *sigh* - Will have to give TMNT a try.

The outcome was not surprising at all.

BtB isn't half as bad as the preview made it out to be. Each episode gets a little better I think. I actually kind of like that they lifted Geoff Johns take on Alfred from Earth One.

I can't stand the animation style on any of these shows, especially Beware the Batman, sooo awkward, cold, and lifeless.

My vote goes for the Venture Bros., trumps every one of of these shows in any possible way

No Transformers Prime? That show is amazing (my opinion) before everyone goes off on one at me, also the knew TMNT is perfect, couldn't ask for a better Turtles show! :)

@mcg: i haven't watch TMNT animated show, but the cgi doesn't look good, that is why i didn't give it a chance to watch it. avengers assemble is getting better especially thor vs midguard serpent episode which in my opinion is the best episode yet. and Hyperion episode to is very good. i will never give up on that show, because they just started, whereas TMNT has started long time now.

I have watched Beware the Batman, its okay but not the standard as DC universe other versions of Batman (even the awkward 2006 version). And call me a purist but I just want Batman to fight his old foes not a guy in a pug mask and a Window in the Willows character. Even that female villain they introduce was basically like Catwoman, so why didn't they bring her in!! Err, this is even worst than Arrow!! Come on DC, you're better than that in animation.

Surprised actually 20% say they dont like any. Kinda harsh :/

@mcg: hulk and the agent of smash is coming. i watched episode 1, it was ok. avengers assemble has improved so far.

TMNT is a good show, but just look at how pathetic the rest of that list is....

do people running marvel animation actually think that avengers assemble is better than avengers earths mightiest heroes ??? what the hell are they watching ? its almost laughable how much they regressed in every aspect of the show..jeph loeb could suck it...just like assemble sucks it ...its like 90 percent of what he touches turns to crap since he left DC

Beware the Batman is awesome, why do so many people dislike it?
