It's hard to believe that May 17th is just around the corner, but it is. A month from tomorrow many of us will be lining up outside theaters across North America to catch the sequel to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie; Star Trek Into Darkness. We saw the teaser trailer late last year and two trailer's earlier this year, and now we've got a third trailer and a closer look at the plot of the film.
While the first international trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness focused on the film's adversary played by actor Benedict Cumberbatch, this trailer's focus is on Captain James T. Kirk and what he might be doing wrong. The opening to this trailer is much like the first (international trailer): we get a look at a sweeping landscape, but instead of focusing on Cumberbatch's character, the focus moves to Chris Pine and the struggles he will have to face when he goes up against this new adversary. The clip gives us a closer look at Captain Kirk, as well as a very climactic scene in the film where Kirk faces Cumberbatch and his crew in an outer space brawl. If this sounds interesting, wait until you see the clip.
