Valiant has announced that we'll be seeing some strange things in August in a special, stand alone issue. Jeff Lemire is bringing in special guest Raul Allen (ALL-NEW HAWKEYE) to conclude the first story arc in the series and to reveal the hallucinatory world of the cartoon sidekick known as Bloodsquirt.
"Everyone at Valiant went to great lengths to keep Bloodsquirt's existence – and the brilliant way Jeff Lemire has hidden him within Mico Suayan's artwork – a secret before BLOODSHOT REBORN #1 hit stands," said Valiant Publisher Fred Pierce. "We promoted it for months with Jeff's artwork secretly expurgated from the preview pages. The response to the title since fans discovered what we were hiding – and why – has been phenomenal.
