It's great to see that you don't need to break the bank to come up with a great costume.

M'kay. That lil kid Flash cosplay. Probably the cutest thing I've ever seen. EVAR=P

And that Captain America that was all battle trodden would have been the best cosplay ever if he hadn't half assed the goggles.

The Rocketeer, Spiderman (with the imperfectly spaced webs that I actually am really digging), and that Harley are all amazing too. Good Harleys are hard to come by for some reason so that costume gets MUCH props.

So many BRILLIANT costumes!!

Nice Half-Peter/Spider-man costume, reminds me of the good ol' Stan Lee-era Spidey comics :)

As awesome as LSCC was, there weren't half as many people in costumes, let alone original ones....

LOL! So very true! but at the same time it pushes them to be a little more creative! Not so many slave Leias or speedo characters with this crowd.

BTW... that Scream outfit was very cool! My favorite though was that blue Pirate Ranger.

I wish I could go to a convention some day :'( Wonder what I would dress as.

@kamionero: true true, there were some creative ones and some good ones that I don't think I've ever seen cosplayed like the modern Taskmaster or Lashina from the Female Furies.

my favorite was classic Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. Also enjoyed the X-Factor team - never seen the cosplayed before.

Prof pyg was a neat simple idea. The skrull and Vision were really cool. Ares and Catwoman looked great.

When I click the pictures the screen goes grey & the loading blocks show up but the picture doesn't. Anyone know how to fix this?

I know that Skrull Ms. Marvel. Well I don't know her but I follow her on Twitter. She does some awesome Cosplay (particularly Mystique and Jean Grey, I believe she recently did an awesome Hope Summers too) and has a website Kearstin.com And her boyfriend is the Vision, I follow him on Twitter too.

The Lois Lane and Jimmy Olson are pure awesome.

You know what would be funny if one convention everyone cosplayed as non-super characters and like background characters that appear like in one issue that would be hilarious.

Those are all pretty awesome.

They all did a really good job on their costumes, saying this after looking at these galleries you've shared now for years. Aside from my friend John's Longshot (not pictured, he was battling Mojo at the time I guess), I have to give it to the bottom row, second from the left, on the right of Ivy, for giving it the right amount of salt and picking something a little obscure. Way to express yourself people.

Very cool to see the Curvy cop layers get some love, And to see folks of other races join in asThat She Ra was a awesome suit no matter the models race was ...we need to see more of this!

Props to Gangsta Deadpool, and The Ditko Spider-man. That face paint and contacts on the Harley? was amazing!!

So many good and original suits, and aside from Skrull Sue Storm everyone looked like they enjoyed their costumes

THE KID FLASH. Melts into a puddle

I try to click on a picture to bring it up and all I get is a grey screen with a loading box that doesn't load anything.

Where did this guy get his muscle suit? I am trying to make a Monkey Boy costume, and I need something like that.

Some really good stuff here. I especially like Skrull Ms.Marvel, Jovie and Buddy the Elf, Animated Series Catwoman, Vision, The Teen Titans, Godzilla, Lil Flash, Scarecrow, Scream, and that WW2 Cap. 1940's Lois and Jimmy is super creative. I really like that L4D Witch though. Seriously looks like it. If I saw her in a dark hallway crying Id be pretty freaked out.

Really nice job form all the cosplayers here. I am wondering if I should go in costume when I go to SDCC this year for my second time.

And ok, didnt mention this before... but one of the cosplayers is DEFINETLY wearing diapers under the suit. And no, not the little kid dressed as Flash. I mean adult kind.

Some really awesome costumes. Can't even choose a favourite. How do people do it!?

Really like the Skrull Ms Marvel, as well as Spider Woman.

Skrull Ms Marvel looks great, as does Spider-Woman, and kudos to the Black Widow towards the end with the orange hair. If you can get into a leather suit like that, all credit to you. She looks too nice to be Natasha though.
