Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that will never appear in actual comics. The reason they won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs and websites. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
Cary Nord posted some cool sketches on his Instagram page this week.
Brett Booth posted a Booster Gold sketch on his blog.
Philip Tan posted a few more sketches on his Facebook page.
Todd Nauck is getting ready for his new NIGHTCRAWLER series and posted this sketch on his Tumblr.
Mahmud Asrar posted a Magdalena sketch on his Tumblr.
Marcio Takara posted some more commissions on his Tumblr. Illyana and Winter Soldier will get inked and posted later.
Peter Nguyen is continuing his experiment in switching X-Men couples costumes and color schemes. He also posted a cool Robin and X-Men pic on his Tumblr.
Cameron Stewart posted a True Detective pic on his Tumblr.
Chris Giarrusso put up another sketch card for sale on his website. It's sold out already.
Joel Gomez posted some more sketches on his Tumblr.
Tom Raney posted this Wolverine sketch on his Twitter page.
Skottie Young posted some sketches from Planet Comicon on his Tumblr.
Dustin Nguyen posted, what he calls, the "actual last page to Batman 28." But then they made some changes. He also posted a very nice Death of the Endless pic on his Tumblr.
That's it for this week. We'll be back next time with even more great art. Which ones were your favorites?
