Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won’t see in actual comics. The reason you won’t is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs, and websites. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
Todd Nauck posted some sketches of Harley Quinn, Spider-Man, and Blue Beetle on his Tumblr.
We thought there’d be more Star Wars art. Maybe next week. Denis Medri posted this Kylo Ren sketch on his Deviant Art page.
Jim Cheung posted some sketches of Batgirl, Iron Man, Thanos, and Wolverine on his Instagram.
Chris Samnee posted a sketch of a muddy Batman and a happy, coffee-drinking Godzilla on his Instagram.
Dustin Nguyen posted a quick Superman sketch and a holiday-themed Batman piece on his Tumblr.
Michael Walsh posted an image of what Idris Elba would look like as Roland Deschain in The Dark Tower on his Tumblr.
Agnes Garbowska posted sketches of Spider-Man and Deadpool, Harley Quinn, Ahsoka Tano, Nien Nunb, and Chewbacca on her Tumblr.
Kevin Wada posted a couple commissions of Magik and Daredevil on his Tumblr.
Brett Booth posted a sketch of Flash on his Twitter page.
Peter Nguyen posted a couple more Robins (Damian Wayne and Stephanie Brown) and a Wolverine sketch on his Tumblr.
Ron Salas posted sketches of Spider-Man and One-Punch Man on his Tumblr.
Rod Reis posted a Batman commission on his Instagram.
Mike Henderson posted some new sketches of Domino and Darth Vader on his Instagram. You can buy his original art HERE.
That’s it for this week. We’ll search around and hopefully find some more awesome art for next week. Let us know which pieces you really enjoyed.
