    The son of an Atlantean queen and a lighthouse keeper from the town of Amnesty Bay, Arthur Curry would grow up to become the superhero Aquaman, and later take on his birthright as the King of Atlantis. He is a founding member of the Justice League and is among DC Comics' most recognized heroes.

    Referring from their origins, they are an off-shoot of Humanity and so it begs a solid conclusion that they all look like Humans to be exact: Arthur, Mera and Kaldur’ahm. But taking into the topic the likes of Lagoon Boy and other creatures, are there Atlanteans that does not look human? And if so, how did they come to look like that?

    There are actually three different types of atlanteans.The ones that appear human are Poisedonis.The Tritonaians were tranformed into mer people.The Idylists have a few abnormal traits such as purple eyes.
