The war between Atlantis and Cerdia climaxes as Aquaman and Ocean Master conclude their one-on-one battle! If the King of the Seven Seas wins, he will have recast Atlantis as the preeminent world power both above and beneath the waves!

Aquaman has been transported into the streets of Ceredia,Aquaman then tries to stop the brutal attack on him by the citizens with a noble speech before the JLA arrives. Aquaman's telepathy is then boosted so he can communicate with both the Atlanteans and the Ceredians. Meanwhile Tempest manages to survive the grotto's collapse but the Queen of Ceredia is killed,Tempest then uses his magic to track down and attack Orm alongside Aquaman.

Ocean Master then begins to slowly boil Tempest's son in the tank much to Tempest's anger which causes him to teleport his son away much to Ocean Master's surprise. Aquaman then commands a pod of whales which completely destroy the strong hold, as Aquaman and Tempest find his son. While back into the future Temepst finishes telling his granddaughter the story, as he takes her to see Atlantis for the very first time.
