    Awaking in the Aquacave with no powers, Aquaman must use his agility and strength to battle Charybdis.

    Aquaman the awakens restrained in the cave to see Charybdis return with Mera, Dolphin, and Garth as his newest captives. Aquaman then uses his hand to free himself of his chains and attacks but is caught by surprise when he learns he has captured his mother, and begins beating him until Mera uses her hardwater powers to knock him away from Aquaman. Aquaman then lures him out to the open ocean using his speed to avoid his attacks, forcing Charybdis to use the telepathy however the fish refuses his order.

    Aquaman then leads him toward Noble's city where several citizens slow him down while he uses the tunnels to travel thousands of miles away with Charybdis following. While Mera frees all of the prisoners in the aquacave. Aquaman then overcomes and prepares to stab his foe, but hesitates momentarily as he uses Atlan's powers to teleport them both away ending up in the domain of the Fire Trolls.
