The King of the Seas takes on the Warlord of Gorilla City when Aquaman and Grodd collide!

    Maelstrom part 3 of 6

Arthur and Mera are able to find the portal that Atlanna used to escape Atlantis. They use the trident of Neptune to take the portal alone and find themselves in Gorilla City. There they meet with Solovar, who tells them that the last time the portal was used was 15 years ago and the only gorilla who saw who came though those years ago was Grood.

Arthur asks to speak with Grood and Solovar takes him to see Grood who is in prison. Grood makes a deal with Arthur, if he can defeat him in battle Grood will tell him about that night. Grood does not fight fair but Arthur soon gets the upper hand. Grood tell him that the Queen of Atlantis came though and left with the key.

Then while Arthur is distracted Grood grabs the Trident and opens the portal again, this time dragging Arthur though with him.
