Even though Apocalypse is the one who manipulated Essex's DNA to make him into Sinister, Sinister has always seen Apocalypse as an enemy. Sinister feels restricted by Apocalypse and the one holding him back, since Apocalypse sees Sinister as his servant and meant to do HIS work. Sinister eventually decided that he would find a way to defeat the mighty immortal. Eventually this came to him after his studies of the Summers bloodline, through Scott Summers. Sinister believed that if Scott and Jean Grey would have a child it would be powerful enough to defeat Apocalypse. And so Madelyne Pryor was created and Cable was born, the child bred to defeat Sinister's enemy Apocalypse.

Namor the Sub-Mariner is the ruler of undersea Atlantis. The offspring of a sea captain and an Atlantean princess, he has been both a hero and a villain to the surface world. Namor is one of Marvel's oldest published characters with his origins in the Golden Age of comics.
Kurt Wagner is a prominent member of the X-Men and former member and leader of Excalibur. In a dark alternate version of The Askani Timeline, Cable was genetically engineered from Scott Summers' and Madelyn Pryor's DNA using Celestial Technology by Apocalypse who had seen the coming of The Fifth Celestial Host at some time in the near future. Apocalypse hoped that with Cable by his side he would have been able to drive The Celestials off-world but in the end both Apocalypse and Cable were obliterated by The Celestials and for their arrogance Earth was destroyed.
Onyxx was a student studying at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. A close friend of fellow student Bling!, Onyxx often accompanied her on adventures and helped the X-Men battle against Apocalypse. He joined the X-Men full-time when the team relocated to Utopia and helped battle the Dark Avengers, Emplate and Selene.
Oscar Stamp was a young man living in 19th century London whom became the adoptive father to the young boy Daniel Summers. In this, playing a vital role as an sort-of ancestor to the Summers family.
Pestilence is the daughter of Apocalypse and his wife Genesis and was one of the first Horsemen of Apocalypse. Like her mother and siblings, she was separated from Apocalypse when the island of Arakko was sealed away in the dimension of Amenth.
The Mistress of Magnetism, Polaris, is the daughter of Magneto. One of the earliest additions to the X-Men's roster, she has also been a member of X-Factor and the Genoshan Acolytes.

Rachel Summers is the daughter of Cyclops and Jean Grey from the alternate "Days of Future Past" timeline. She was forced to become a mutant "hound" and track other mutants before escaping to the present. Rachel has immense telekinetic and telepathic powers. Rachel was also a longtime host to the Phoenix Force.

Omniversal Majestrix and a powerful witch, Saturnyne is the ruler of Otherworld and overseer of the Captain Britain Corps. Through power, trickery and manipulation, she monitors and acts against threats to the omniverse.
En Sabah Nur sought out Saul, a fellow immortal mutant that coveted the Celestial spacecraft that would become X-Factor's Ship. Nur defeated Saul and entered the ship, later emerging and dubbing himself "Apocalypse".
Apocalypse is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel universe, possessing a multitude of superhuman abilities, including almost unsurpassed strength, invulnerability and the ability to both shift and alter his mass and form.
"Ship" was a sentient monolith left behind by the Celestials to monitor the progress of the life on Earth. It was later taken over by Apocalypse and liberated by X-Factor who used it as their headquarters.
