Ant-Man opens in theaters on July 17. The Hollywood premiere takes place today. (We got to watch it last Friday). You're going to dig the movie.

Since it's a Marvel Studios film, you know you can expect some humor. We've seen plenty of the 'superhero action' scenes in the other trailers and TV spots. This latest one shows a taste of the humor blended into the movie.

What is your level of excitement or anticipation for the movie? We'll have a review for the movie next week.

I think they're trying just a little bit too hard in that scene. It doesn't quite feel 'right' but maybe it'll flow better when you see the whole movie and the actual full context of those scenes.

I am actually very excited for this movie after seeing the reactions of a few that have seen it. Was just generally excited to see Paul Rudd in a Marvel movie but when I saw the first trailer I lost most of my excitement, but when the 2nd trailer came out and the other things I have seen and heard lately about Ant Man I am very excited to see it and interested to see what @g_man thinks of it!

Uh-oh. That character is a clear sign of writers and directors trying too hard. I hope these scenes do not reflect on the entirety of the movie.

Probably will be a little heavy on the jokes but should make for a fun evening

This take on Scott Lang gives me hope that maybe in Ant-Man 2 O'Grady could show up as a former criminal associate of Scott's.

@strangetales: I get what you're saying. I'm talking about the movie too. I saw a screening last Friday, mentioned in the post. I agree too much humor can be a problem like in Dark World. Here it worked.

I liked that Luis whistled anyway. :)

That scene didnt do too much for me aside from the whole idea of a heist set up. Still excited for the movie.

I like me a Heist movie. That's what I'm most looking forward to in this. Hopefully, they don't go too, too overboard with the comedy.

The trailers make this look...genuinely bad. I'll watch this when its cheap on Blu-Ray.

This is looking great! A fun time at the movies + superheros, I'm in! For all the humorless people out there, I'm sure it has it's share of serious moments, relax.
