This issue starts with Angel dreaming that Spike and Conner are superheros and don't need him any more. Then he wakes up and sees Nina siting next to his bed and they talk about how its snowing in hell because of a spell that was supposed to make the climate more livable. Spider and the Girls have been put in under the charge of Groo. Wes has been ordered to stay with Spike while Angel, Illyria, Nina, Conner, the Dragon and Gwen go hunting for the most powerful vamp in town.
Meanwhile, Gunn shows George what the slayers are and he mentally causes them to stop attacking him. Gunn then tells him to contact anyone outside of hell, he does and the tell him that hes crazy and that they're watching the L.A. news channal and that the worst thing happening is a high speed chace. Gunn tells him that he already knew.
Angel and them beat the nest of vamps, and Angel realises that conner was trying to protect angel becase hed been off his game latly. Then Illyria drops the fact that Angel is no longer human (which she knows because she can sence power). Conner and
Gwen leave, Nina says that the only reason she was with Conner was to help Angel. Then he tells Illyria to find the real vamp.
Gunn and George were talking on the rooftop when the Dragon showed up and Angel saw Gunn.
