    Plot Summaries

    Spider-Man!

    Peter Parker is but a lonely high-school student until one day whilst he attends a science experiment during which a spider absorbs an uncanny amount of radiation before biting him. Soon after Peter discovers that he has gained powers similar to that of a spider – he is incredibly strong, can stick to walls and now has increased senses. Deciding to use his newfound powers to earn some money he creates the identity of ‘Spider-Man’ for himself and soon becomes an overnight sensation. With his new found fame and success Peter becomes much more selfish and fails to stop a fleeing criminal claiming from now on he only looks out for himself and his Aunt and Uncle.

    However upon returning to his house one night Peter discovers that his beloved Uncle Ben has been shot in a botched robbery. As Spider-Man, Peter tracks down the murderer but is shocked to discover that it is the thief he allowed to escape earlier. Racked with the guilt of his Uncle's death Peter realises that with his new great powers there must also come great responsibility.

    The Bell Ringer

    On a small volcanic island all but one islander is a fisherman. The man called Pedros is instead a bell ringer every morning rings the church bells so that fishermen may also be guided by their ringing. One day the villagers notice that the volcano about to erupt and decide to desert the village. Opting to remain behind Pedros chooses to ring the bells in hope that everyone can get to safety. As the other islanders flee to safety many believe to see a bright light coming down from the heavens and an elderly man ascending into the sky.

    The Man in the Mummy Case

    A criminal, Rocco Rank is on the lamb, he breaks into a museum to hide, and hears a voice. It comes from a mummy's sarcophagus, lie with the mummy and help will be given, but at what price?

    There are Martians Among Us

    A small community of people find a crashed spaceship, and realize there are aliens among them.

    Here it is - 11 pages (12 if you count the cover) of comic book history in the making.You know the story - timid Peter Parker, who we all came to know, love and identify with - is bitten by a radioactive spider and receives his Spider - powers.
