    After watching Man of Steel a few weeks ago I have been in a huge Superman mood going through some of my favourite stories of the Man of Tomorrow as well as trying some that I haven't already read.     This is my 150th review, end of story.I love this book I wasn’t a Superman fan before I read this book, but afterwards I really like the character and its half the reason I read Superman Unchained now, but this still remains a favourite story of mine, and I’ve re-read this loads of time.PlotSuperman travels to the sun to help a science team from falling into it, but Lex luthor has poisoned Superman due to him being to near to the Sun and Superman begins to die, but his powers have been increase...

    This was a fine story, but I'm not sure why it received all the acclaim and accolades it did (especially an Eisner for continuing series, knowing it was only going to last 12 issues) - maybe there wasn't much competition at the time. It's a fine touch that Morrison adds semi-classical narrative devices to the overall story, with Superman's little Bizarro catabasis and all, but it wasn't really a mind-blowing experience.
