All Star Batman And Robin Boy Wonder #7: I'll Take You To School!
"Grayson. Front And Center." - Batman. Frank and Jim continue to tell the story on, Batman meeting his young Ward, Dick Grayson, and eventual partner. Batman takes Gotham Shipyard thugs to school in one particular subject. Chemistry. Batman continues to beat the living daylights out of the thugs, until all of them are unconscious. Black Canary thanks Batman in her own special way. However, later on Batman puts young Dick Grayson to the test. A test where he must decided to become an, Avenger or a Detective. This is a Frank Miller series that is a "must have", it has the right action and the best story.
The Good
Things are picking up for Batman and young Dick Grayson. Since Dick hasn't been seen in a couple of issues, it is good that Frank decided to bring him back. Batman was really fighting dirty in this issue. How Frank makes Batman act in this series is always a new twist. Every time he laughs, or fights, or even talks Frank has turned All Star Batman into a weapon of destruction. Jim Lee continues to deliver the best artwork for this series. He and Frank are doing a excellent job at drawing and writing this unforgettable story of how Batman drafts a 12-year-old boy onto his War On Crime. This Batman is more military detective, he uses "front and center" and other military terms. However, in the next issue Dick should start his training to become Robin. The Bad
Black Canary had another Minor role. I think other heroes in All Star Batman And Robin, Boy Wonder are all just minor. From looking at past issues, other heroes other than Batman are shown only in one or two panels and then they are never said about again. I think there should be a good reason, as to why heroes are shown, but never do anything at all.The Verdict
Frank continues to tell the thrilling story of Batman and Robin. With the help of artist Jim Lee, they will inspire other "elseworld" writers and artist to team up and make great stories about the Dark Knight and The Boy Wonder! Overall this is a 4.5 out of 5.
