Albrect

Origin

Albrect is a Detroit Police Officer who runs into the Crow inside Gideon Resale and lets the Crow go after the Crow tells him about his wife and convinces him to visit her.  Then he call Captain Hook and tells him most of what happened.  Afterwards he is asked to look after Sherri.

Creation

There were a few changes made to the film from comic.  First he was white in the comic and black in the film, but more importantly he had a larger role as Shelly Webster not Eric Draven was the one rushed to the hospital and he stayed with Shelly instead of Captain Cook staying with Eric.  He also had a greater connection to the original case than he did in the comic and he helps the Crow a lot in the film where as in the comic he is much more like a rookie cop.
