Akamaru

Kiba has a trusty companion he found named Akamaru. He has been with Kiba nearly all of Kiba's life. Akamaru can also transform into the exact shape of Kiba. He helps Kiba in the fight against Naruto by confusing him. Then Kiba goes for the finishing strike.

When they are trapped with Naruto, Choji, and Neji, Akamaru and Kiba use the jutsu to try and bust it open. But it turns out that the rock wall was actually reinforced with chakara and would regenerate itself when hit. So as Akamaru and Kiba kept attacking the wall, Neji studied the wall and its weal points where it took more time to regenerate the rock. So once Neji knew where the weak points in the structure were, he told Kiba and Akamaru where to attack, and soon enough they were free.

Akamaru can sense how strong ans enemy is by smelling their chakra level. Another thing is Kiba is the only one who understands Akamarubecause they have such a close bond.

Akamaru was a present to Kiba from his mother and his sister when he went off to the academy. His mother has wolves instead of dogs like Akamaru. Kibas sister is a vet which is useful when Akamaru was injured in the battle against Sakon and Ukon from the sound 4.

One of Akamarus techniqes is marking the opponent so him and Kiba can do their most powerful jutsu. The reason Akamaru marks the enemy is because during this jutsu you are completly blind because your twisting so fast bu with Akamarus smell he can easily find his target that he marked.

Akamaru also has another technique that after Kiba gives him a special pill his fur becomes red and he is twice as strong. Akamaru also uses this technique when Kiba faught Naruto in the Chunin exams, it did not last long but he hurt Naruto badly. Also when Kiba was fighting the demon, it was trying to take over Kiba's body. He had to stab himself to get the demon off because the demon felt whatever pain Kiba did. Before he did that he had to get Akamaru to hold the demon off, in the red fur form. After that Akamaru fell unconcious and they were able to get away.

During the Chunin exams Kiba used Akamaru to cheat on the test.

Akamaru owes his life to Kiba's sister because after the fight with the two headed fiend he was in bad shape.
